Analyst, RGM, Promotional Excellence - Interim

If you love working with market insights, consumer data, and advanced analytics to translate messy, large-scale data into decisions that move the business, this role puts you at the heart of one of Pandora's most strategically significant growth levers: Revenue Growth Management, with a focus on Promotional Excellence!

This is not a traditional analyst role. You'll own the analytical infrastructure and intelligence frameworks that shape how Pandora competes – working across competitor landscape monitoring, consumer behaviour during key promotional periods, and the data pipelines that make it all possible. Beyond analytics, there is real opportunity to extend the scope of the role into cross-functional workstreams.

What You Will Do

Competitor Intelligence & Market Sensing

You'll own Pandora's promotional competitor intelligence framework end-to-end: designing the data collection approach, building scalable pipelines in PBI and Alteryx, and producing structured monthly reporting on competitor promotional intensity, mechanics, and market dynamics. You'll surface patterns that others miss and translate them into forward-looking strategic recommendations for Merchandising and senior leadership to inform our promotional strategy.

Consumer Insights & Behaviour Analytics

You'll bring a consumer lens to promotional strategy. You'll be analysing customer response to promotional events (including basket behaviour, conversion, repeat purchase, and segment-level uplift) to understand what drives genuine value versus what simply pulls forward demand. You'll partner with Consumer Insights teams to develop transactional signals into a coherent view of the promotional consumer.

Advanced Promotional Analytics & Post-Mortems

You'll lead quantitative evaluation of promotional campaigns: uplift modelling, elasticity analysis, ROD (Return on Discount) measurement, and A/B or quasi-experimental frameworks where data allows. You'll enhance the quality of insights in our KCP and quarterly post-mortems, going beyond reporting to generate testable hypotheses and clear recommendations.

What You Will Bring

You're curious about consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics, not just metrics. You know how to frame a market intelligence question, find creative ways to answer it with data, and communicate it in a way that shapes decisions. You have a structured and proactive approach to your work, and you're comfortable with ambiguity. You hold yourself to a high standard of analytical rigour and storytelling quality equally. You enjoy working cross-functionally, and you have the ability to manage various stakeholders.

You have approximately 3-4 years in an analytically intensive role: Commercial Analytics, Advanced Analytics, Consumer Insights, RGM/Pricing, or a data-forward Consulting background, with a track record of building things and owning outcomes, not just reporting on them. You are comfortable with causal inference concepts (uplift, incrementality, elasticity), consumer segmentation, and working with large, imperfect, real-world datasets. Bringing experience integrating multiple data sources (transactional, panel, survey, or third-party market data) would be a clear advantage.

Additionally, we hope that you have and can demonstrate experience in at least 2 of the below:

  • Power BI: Strong dashboard development skills – you build reports that are clean and navigable for reporting and decision-making. Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and data model.

  • SQL: You are comfortable writing your own queries and can leverage AI and data engineer input to pull your own data.

  • Databricks: Confident working in a Databricks environment – querying large datasets, building and running notebooks, and collaborating on data pipelines at scale.

  • Alteryx: Hands-on experience building analytical workflows in Alteryx; able to design processes to streamline workflows and enable data-driven insights.

The Team and The Impact

You'll join Pandora's Global RGM & Pricing organization within Merchandising – a team that safeguards margins and drives profitable growth across pricing and promotions globally. The Promotional Excellence CoE is responsible for promo strategy, discount budgeting, governance, and best practices across clusters. Your analytical work will directly inform decisions that shape Pandora's commercial performance across markets.
