Thomas Hansen is the recently appointed Director of New Store Concept working in our Copenhagen headquarters office. Thomas has worked for Pandora for over 7 years where he started as a Business Development Consultant. He then moved to Germany where he headed up Sales in Northern Europe. After 5 successful years in Hamburg, he now returns to Denmark for his new role. We caught up with Thomas to see how things are going.

Thomas, congratulations on your new role. 7 years is a long time. What is so unique about Pandora?

For me, it's the people! We are, of course, a very successful company with wonderful products, but it's the people who make the difference. When you join our Pandora family, you will feel it. There is a special team spirit in the company, everybody is different, but we all are working together to achieve great results.

So, what kind of people do Pandora need?

We need people who are ambitious and passionate! It is very important, that you are a person who loves to change things and make things better. We are different than many other companies. We have a flat structure, an open-door mentality and no bureaucracy that is focused on making progress - you have to like that.

How is life at Pandora?

Life at Pandora is fun! We have a lot of ambition and drive - we are always achieving to get better. Because of that, there is a lot of potential to grow and to develop. We have people with great ideas, and your creativity is always welcomed.

Your career seems to be very international. Is that usual at Pandora?

Absolutely! ‘International Development’ is one of the most important values of the company. We are always looking for flexible people who would like to start an international career. You have the choice if you want to work in Denmark, Asia or UK... there are many opportunities to grow. If you are proactive, you can make everything in this company.
