Discover As-Is

  • Collaborate effectively and resolve APS issues with stakeholders in Global Supply Chain Excellence, Manufacturing Technology, IT, Master Planning, Supply Chain Excellence, and APS Vendor.
  • Review and discuss performance variance against KPI targets with key stakeholders and ensure corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
  • Review planning parameters and master data accuracy (e.g. STD accuracy) for effectiveness of each production site and collaborate with Master Data Management (MDM) for correction.

Define To-Be

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to determine optimal APS functionality, parameters, and necessary reports to ensure plan adherence.
  • Gather data and requirements from concerned parties and provide the most optimum solutions for planning.
  • Identify APS improvement initiatives and coordinate with related teams to find and implement solutions.

Design Fit-to-Standard or Fit-to-Best Practice

  • Share best practices among team members.
  • Develop APS standards, policies, guidelines, and parameters to ensure effective and efficient planning processes, output, and documentation.
  • Develop tactical enhancement tools and functions.
  • Ensure the right level of APS development, configuration, and process changes based on business requirements (keep it simple).

Deliver Solution Design & Plan

  • Monitor performance variance against KPI targets with key stakeholders (Scheduling, Master Planning, Production, I&PD, PEx) and provide corrective actions.
  • Manage and monitor APS execution, implementation, and performance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Monitor APS functionality and performance and act as first-tier support for operational issue-solving.
  • Execute APS system setup, updates, tests, and changes.
  • Execute change management including business readiness, training material creation, and communication.
  • Assist with data migration and provide support during implementation, including testing and debugging.

Changing the Business

  • Drive successful APS project implementation and milestone achievement.

 

We love that you are…

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Science, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience in a related field, particularly production scheduling or capacity planning.
  • Proven track record of project management & implementation.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; jewellery experience is preferred.
  • Familiar with an agile mindset and business analysis principles, with knowledge of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Manufacturing ERP, or Advanced Planning System (APS).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to interact effectively across the organization.
  • Able to make hard decisions and the right trade-offs.
  • Self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change.
  • Flexible and efficient in time management, able to prioritize workload based on organizational needs.
  • Well organized, systematic, and comprehensive in approach.
  • Skilled in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g. AX, SAP); Python is a plus.
  • Good English communication and self-confident.
