  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure machines operate efficiently and minimize the risk of unexpected breakdowns.
  • Perform scheduled service maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal working condition, addressing wear and tear.
  • Address machine breakdowns promptly, troubleshoot issues, and execute necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Strictly adhere to safety standards and protocols, creating a secure working environment for all team members.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive measures for future reference.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance machine efficiency and implement improvements to optimize overall performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including production teams, and external stakeholders, such as equipment suppliers and contractors/Service Providers, to support overall production goals.
  • Ensure clear and efficient communication within the maintenance team and with other relevant departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Provide training sessions for machine operators on basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in machine maintenance and implement relevant innovations to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate proactively with the maintenance team, sharing insights, addressing challenges, and fostering a culture of teamwork.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in machine maintenance.
  • Enforce and uphold strict safety practices both of maintenance team and contractors, fostering a safety-first mindset and ensuring a secure work environment.

 

We love that you are… 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical/Electrical or related fields
  • At least 2-3 years of practical experience in machine maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in preventive, service, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Knowledge of machinery operations, troubleshooting techniques, and hands-on experience in making repairs and improvements.
  • Relevant certifications in machine maintenance, safety protocols, or any industry-specific qualifications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety standards with certifications in occupational safety and health.
  • Basic familiarity with inventory management principles, ensuring the availability of necessary components for maintenance activities.
  • Background in Jewellery industry will be advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive team dynamic.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address issues and find practical solutions.
  • A proactive approach to continuous learning, staying informed about new technologies and industry updates.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving technologies and changing maintenance requirements.
  • Attention to detail in maintenance activities, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation.
  • Basic time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet maintenance schedules.
  • Willingness to take initiative, contributing ideas for improvement, and demonstrating eagerness to learn.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey maintenance-related information effectively.
