Specialist, Machine Engineer (AAA)

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Technical

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain all PLC-controlled processes on the automatic plating line (Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
• Diagnose and resolve faults in variable-speed drives (VFD/Inverters) for conveyor, hoist, and pump motors.
• Maintain, calibrate, and replace industrial sensors — proximity, temperature, level, flow, and encoder types.
• Operate and manage SCADA/HMI interfaces; update PLC programs and parameters as required.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and system integrators for upgrades, spare parts, and technical support

Maintenance

• Develop and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all automated equipment on the plating line.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are always available.
• Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and KPI dashboards for management review.

Technical skill requirements

• PLC programming & troubleshooting — Siemens TIA Portal / STEP 7, Mitsubishi GX Works, or equivalent.
• AC/DC Variable Frequency Drives — Siemens, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, ABB, or equivalent brands.
• Industrial sensor types: proximity, photoelectric, temperature, level, and flow sensors.
• HMI / SCADA operation and basic configuration (Weintek, Siemens, Proface, or similar).
• Motor control circuits — DOL, Star-Delta, and VFD-driven systems.
• DC Rectifier systems used in electroplating processes is a strong advantage.
• Basic pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge for plating conveyors and hoist systems.
