As Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in translating global portfolio strategy into actionable frameworks, portfolio roadmaps, and data-driven insights that guide platform teams and cross-functional partners.

 

You will report to a director and drive the development of portfolio frameworks, ensure roadmap alignment with financial and brand priorities, and lead portfolio analytics to inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with platform teams, Design, Insights, and Commercial stakeholders to ensure the portfolio evolves in line with consumer trends, brand ambitions, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

 

Portfolio Strategy Execution

  • Translate portfolio strategy into operational frameworks, guardrails, and decision-support tools
  • Support the development of 1-year and 3-year portfolio strategies by synthesizing insights from analytics, consumer data, and platform inputs
  • Identify portfolio opportunities, risks, and growth gaps across categories, metals, price tiers, and platforms
  • Support the definition of portfolio priorities, platform targets, and key strategic trade-offs

 

Portfolio Roadmap Development

  • Lead the development and continuous evolution of the global portfolio roadmap in collaboration with platform teams
  • Evaluate platform proposals against portfolio strategy, identifying overlaps, gaps, and incremental opportunities
  • Ensure roadmaps reflect strategic priorities, lifecycle guardrails, and financial targets
  • Facilitate alignment across portfolio, platform, and commercial teams

 

Range & Portfolio Architecture

  • Support the development and maintenance of portfolio architecture frameworks (category roles, mix targets, complexity guardrails)
  • Consolidate platform-level assortment proposals into globally mandated ranges and retail execution concepts
  • Ensure global assortment aligns with portfolio strategy and delivers incremental value

 

Promotions & Lifecycle Governance

  • Support the definition and application of promotional guardrails and exclusions in collaboration with Commercial and Marketing
  • Ensure lifecycle guardrails and exit strategies are consistently applied across platforms
  • Monitor lifecycle adherence and identify optimization opportunities

 

Portfolio Analytics & Performance

  • Lead the development of portfolio analytics frameworks and performance tracking
  • Analyze performance across categories, platforms, price tiers, and lifecycle stages
  • Generate insights to support collection reviews, portfolio optimization, and roadmap planning
  • Lead post-mortems and performance reviews in collaboration with Global Merchandising and CIMA

 

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with platform teams to translate strategy into collection and platform roadmaps
  • Collaborate with Design, CIMA, and Global Merchandising to integrate consumer, trend, and commercial insights
  • Support BEC and Innovation teams with portfolio insights and long-term opportunity areas
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders on portfolio priorities and key initiatives

 

Financial Planning & Governance

  • Support the development of the top-down portfolio financial framework across categories, metals, and price tiers
  • Partner with Finance and portfolio leadership to ensure roadmap alignment with financial targets
  • Monitor portfolio performance and highlight risks and opportunities

 

What You Bring

  • Relevant background from Business Strategy, Marketing, Merchandising, Economics, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in portfolio strategy, category strategy, merchandising, consulting, or commercial strategy within a global consumer brand
  • Proven ability to translate data and insights into strategic frameworks and decision-making tools
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally in a global matrix organization
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
