About the Role
In this role, you will support the development and execution of the global product portfolio strategy by providing analytical insights, roadmap coordination, and portfolio performance monitoring. Working closely with the Senior Manager and Director, you will be supporting the portfolio planning processes, develop performance analyses, and ensure strategic frameworks are translated into actionable recommendations for platform teams.
You will be working with platform teams to gather inputs for roadmap and portfolio planning, and collaborating cross-functionally to incorporate consumer, trend, and commercial insights into portfolio analyses.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Supporting the development of the global portfolio strategy through research, analysis, and synthesis of insights, and analysing portfolio performance
- Identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities within the portfolio
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the global 3-year and 1-year portfolio roadmap, as well as consolidating platform inputs and supporting the evaluation of roadmap alignment with portfolio strategy
- Tracking roadmap progress and maintaining documentation of portfolio initiatives and launches
- Supporting analysis of portfolio structure, assortment mix, and category roles, as well as providing insights to help manage the portfolio complexity and assortment efficiency
- Assisting the consolidation of platform assortment proposals into global assortment recommendations
- Supporting analysis of promotion effectiveness and adherence to promotion guardrails
- Tracking lifecycle status across portfolio platforms and provide analyses to support lifecycle decisions
- Providing analytical input to portfolio financial planning decisions, and assist in tracking portfolio performance against financial targets
What is needed to succeed
We are looking for a strong and structured communicator with a flair for storytelling. You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, and have worked before in global environments. Additionally, we expect that you have and can demonstrate:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in strategy, analytics, category management, merchandising, or consulting
- Strong analytical experience with commercial or product portfolio data
- Experience with financial, strategic, and portfolio performance analysis
- Ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
