Senior Manager, Category Management, Digital & Technology

This is a great opportunity to shape Digital & Technology (D&T) categories through strategic procurement, with a strong focus on licensing. You will set category strategies that balance business needs, stakeholder experience and value, and help define how we work with key suppliers. You will also support Pandora Procurement’s cost optimisation programme and deliver clear results at scale. 

 

Your new role 

As Senior Category Strategy Manager, you will have end‑to‑end ownership of D&T categories globally. You will define and drive category strategies, build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and ensure execution that delivers measurable business value. 

 

Category Management  

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading the development and continuous maturity of category strategies, translating business priorities into clear roadmaps, initiatives, and measurable outcomes
  • Building and driving strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with key partners to improve service quality, innovation, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Acting as a trusted procurement business partner to senior stakeholders, shaping decisions through insights, storytelling, and clear commercial recommendations
  • Driving execution of category strategies in close collaboration with local stakeholders, ensuring speed, adoption, and tangible results
  • Scanning external markets for best practices and emerging opportunities, acting as a subjectmatter expert and coach to strengthen category capabilities across Global Procurement
  • Executing sourcing, tendering, and RFP processes, ensuring robust governance and value delivery

 

 

License Management

 

Purpose

Own endtoend software and license management, setting the strategic direction for license and cloud usage. Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies, drive supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, and optimise cost and utilisation through effective planning, monitoring, and governance.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Developing and continuously improving License Management frameworks, processes, and governance
  • Planning, monitoring, recording, and reporting on software licenses and cloud subscriptions to ensure compliant, costeffective, and optimal usage
  • Acting as a subjectmatter expert, providing guidance to the business on best practices for license and cloud coverage, and influencing decisions toward scalable and costefficient solutions
  • Ensuring accurate subscription and entitlement records, reducing compliance risk and supporting audit readiness
  • Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to monitor performance, manage renewals, and maximise value from license agreements 

 

 

About the department 

The D&T Procurement team is part of Pandora’s global Procurement organisation, with colleagues located across multiple regions. The team is responsible for managing Pandora’s technology procurement categories end to end, partnering primarily with the global Digital & Technology organisation and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the wider business to enable scalable, compliant, and valuedriven technology sourcing. 

 

 

Your skills and qualifications 

We are looking for an ambitious and impact‑driven professional who thrives in complexity and enjoys making things happen. You combine strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities and build trust quickly across diverse stakeholder groups. 

 

 

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience within Category Management, Strategic Procurement, or closely related business areas
  • Experience within D&T categories, i.e. solid experience in negotiation and sourcing, handling software, SaaS, and implementation partners, resulting in positive business and commercial outcomes
  • Proven ability to develop and execute impactful category strategies that influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and commercial models within complex D&T categories
  • A demonstrated track record of building long‑term partnerships and influencing decision‑making in a global, matrix environment
  • Extensive experience, particularly with large global SaaS and service integration suppliers 

 

You are ambitious and impact-driven, bringing curiosity and structure to deliver great results. You build trust quickly, navigate complexity with confidence, and communicate with influence through storytelling and negotiation. You are data-driven and fluent in English.
