eCommerce Personalization and Optimization Specialist

The eCommerce Personalization and Optimization Specialist is primarily responsible for utilizing our core analytics tools to identify opportunities to optimize the site journey, increase conversion and retain new customers. The ideal candidate has experience developing insights and takes both a creative and data-driven approach to implement A/B and multivariate tests, personalized experiences and optimizations around the user journey, content and merchandising. The role also plays a key role in creating pre and post-test analysis and reporting, partnering with local and global stakeholders.

 

The person in this role can be based remotely in the EST or CST timezones. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Cocreate a robust quarterly testing and personalization roadmap with global and local ecommerce teams and introduce new optimization opportunities during peak promotional and campaign periods.
  • Execute and QA A/B tests, ensuring experiences are activated flawlessly, monitoring tests while active and troubleshooting any errors, and assisting in creating post-test results.
  • Support with developing new dashboards around customer journey trends, identify how different audiences behave on site during various trading periods and highlight new areas of opportunities to run targeted experiences.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify new AI driven virtual tools to drive guided selling that assist in increasing basket and conversion and support with UAT when new tools are introduced.
  • Create and organize ticket requests in JIRA and manage updates and responses to local and global teams in a timely manner.
  • Build strong internal relationships with US ECommerce, merchandising, operations and wider marketing & Global ECommerce team. Collaborate with and learn from colleagues in similar roles globally.

 

Something About You:

 

Must have experience and ways of working:

  • 3+ years of experience in an eCommerce analytics or optimization role
  • Previous experience working cross functionally with merchandising and digital marketing teams preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work
  • Must be able to perform well in a deadline-driven, rapidly changing environment
  • Proactive and results orientated
  • Self-motivated, analytical and structured approach to your tasks
  • Quick learner and adapt to a professional and high-performance work environment

 

Must have skills:

  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Ability to analyze the end to end site journey to co-create dashboards and roadmaps for optimization opportunities
  • Experience with analytics and BI tools (Adobe Analytics or similar)
  • Experience with customer journey insight tools (ContentSquare or similar)
  • Experience with A/B testing tools (Kibo/Monetate or similar)
  • Ability to utilize basic HTML/JSS skills to execute A/B tests
  • Strong project management skills, JIRA experience required

 

Bonus skills:

  • Experience with Personalization and Loyalty programs
  • Content Management System experience – ability to create on-site experiences
  • Experience with CRM & Audience tools to be able to segmented and targeted experiences (Bloomreach or similar)
  • On-site Merchandising experience around product recommendations, UGC and AI tools
