Your role as a Technology Director S/4HANA:

 

As Tech Director S/4HANA, you will partner closely with our senior executives, product management and cross functional teams to build and operate our next generation ERP platform. As a leader and people manager, you will build and support a high performance team and help them deliver results through coaching and inspiring leadership that builds trust, engagement and belonging.

 

This role will define the technology direction for the S/4HANA landscape and steers its development in an agile model – therefore this role is mission critical to our success. You will have a great opportunity to create a massive impact that will drive the future growth and strategy with the implementation, and further on the operation of our new ERP.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Build and execute the S/4HANA roadmap and strategy to deliver a global scalable platform ensuring tangible business outcomes and growth in close collaboration with Product Management
  • Support the global rollout of S4 and delivery of ERP technology services with a strong platform team
  • Build strong working relationships across multiple business and tech teams to collaborate and remove unnecessary complexity starting with the customer in mind
  • Drive operational excellence for running and enhancing the S/4HANA platform with service level objectives and key metrics, also in close collaboration with Tech Leaders from adjacent domains
  • Build and develop a high performance team of (agile minded) SAP Architects and Functional Analysts
  • Build a strong DevOps culture and Agile team that operates with a bias towards delivering measurable outcomes with high velocity, quality and engagement with their customers and stakeholders

 

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • Proven track record and expertise in managing global SAP ERP programs in a leading tech role
  • Deep understanding in operating and governing global SAP ERP platforms . Expertise in SAP platform services like BTP, CPI , Solman etc.
  • A strong technologist with technical expertise designing solutions using micro services, API’s and Events that integrate with the ERP core
  • Experience with agile ways of working collaborating with engineering, product management, and cross-functional partners to build products, and delivering scalable solutions in an iterative way
  • Self-aware leader with strong listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective influencer and ability to work with large cross-functional teams to manage, support and solve problems
  • Highly skilled at leading and managing change in a global organization
  • 10 or more years of experience with SAP , including at least 2 years with S4, ideally supporting large-scale enterprise operations
  • Passion for continuous learning, evangelizing product management and be a promoter of best practices within the team and company
  • Omni-channel experience would be highly desirable
  • Experience with SAP Finance would be highly desirable
