Your Role:
 
The Senior Manager, RTR GPO reporting to Senior Director, GPO plays a key leadership role in shaping, maintaining, and continuously improving Pandora’s global Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. As part of the Global Process Owner (GPO) organization within Global Business Services (GBS), this role ensures global standardization, compliance, and value realization across the end-to-end financial close and reporting landscape.
 
This position leads and supports strategic finance initiatives and projects - including process simplification, close optimization, automation, and remediation of systematic issues impacting financial accuracy and control. The role acts as a key bridge between business operations, IT, and Finance leadership to ensure that both system and process solutions are sustainable, well-governed, and future-proof.
 
One of Pandor’s key strategic initiatives is the SAP S/4HANA implementations in which the Senior Manager will play a key role. Activities include ERP template governance, rollout readiness, and continues improvement assessment. The Senior Manager partners with Finance Leadership, IT, Internal Controls, and other GPO towers (OTC, PTP, PL2PR) to deliver a “Future-Proof Foundation” for Pandora’s finance processes.
 
Your responsibilities:
 
    Global Process Ownership & Continous Improvement:
• Own and drive continuous improvement initiatives across global RTR processes (e.g., close optimization, automation, reconciliations, intercompany, for example).
• Identify opportunities for process digitization and simplification leveraging SAP capabilities, analytics, and automation.
• Maintain and evolve the global RTR process standards, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Define process KPIs, policies, and documentation standards (process maps, RACIs, SOPs, controls).
• Represent the RTR area as a Subject Matter Expert within collaborating projects across the organization which can include new technology implementation, risk and control environment, and new business models
    ERP Transformation & Rollout:
• Serve as a key workstream lead within the Compass SAP S/4HANA program, ensuring the RTR template is deployed consistently across markets.
• Lead RTR design authority forums (e.g., Design Decision Board) and ensure process integrity across system and data landscapes.
• Partner with the System Integrator (SI), Solution Architects, and D&T to validate system design, testing, and deployment readiness.
• Support country readiness, data migration validation, and post go-live stabilization from an RTR process perspective.
    Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:
• Partner closely with Cluster Finance Directors, GBS Operations, and Global Finance teams to ensure process adoption and performance.
• Build and sustain an RTR community of practice within GBS and Finance.
• Advocate individual behaviour changes, both inside and outside GBS, in a way that facilitates the desired outcomes
• Lead and develop a small team of RTR Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project analysts.
 
We’re the perfect match, if you have:
 
• 8-10 years of solid professional experience and expertise in the Record-to-Report process in SSC/BPO structures (including GL function, consolidation or reporting, finance process improvement)
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, intercompany, and financial reporting processes
• Strong ERP (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and other systems knowledge related to the process
• Global and end-to-end mindset and strong communication and presentation skills
• Leadership skills and experience in talent development, empowerment and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
• Data driven, action oriented approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
