We are a greenfield implementation leveraging the newest SAP technologies such as SAP RISE, cloud ALM, BTP as well as Kafka for integration capabilities. We have started building a strong internal team of SAP experts and are continuing to do so. Our scope is truly global, and we cover processes from manufacturing, distribution, retail, to procurement and finance.

Your role as a Senior ABAP Developer 

  

As ourSenior ABAP Developer, you'll be instrumental in elevating the standards of SAP development and extensibility, aligning with the dynamic realm of modern SAP methodologies. Your expertise will not only shape the course of our SAP projects but also set new benchmarks for excellence in SAP development practices and standards. 

 

  

Your responsibilities include: 

 

  • Champion the formulation of SAP development guidelines and best practices, ensuring unwavering commitment to Clean Core architecture. 

  • Drive the advocacy and implementation of SAP extensibility techniques and customization practices. 

  • Spearhead the adoption of SAP DevOps practices, integrating Git-enabled change management and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined, agile development. 

  • Develop intuitive UI/UX interfaces and SAP Fiori applications that enhance user experiences and drive operational efficiency. 

  • Collaborate across teams to design and deliver cutting-edge SAP S/4HANA solutions, aligning with our SAP development roadmap. 

  • Mentor fellow developers, nurturing a collaborative learning environment and fostering skill growth. 

 

What is needed to succeed: 

 

  • Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP development tools, with hands-on experience in crafting solutions. 

  • Familiarity with Clean Core architecture principles in SAP development, with a focus on practical design decisions. 

  • Experience in designing UI/UX interfaces and developing SAP Fiori applications, with a portfolio of projects as a plus. 

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and cloud-first development, including exposure to extensibility projects. 

  • Familiarity with SAP DevOps practices, including experience with Git-enabled change management and CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Cloud-first mindset, willingness to leverage SAP's cloud capabilities for innovation. 

  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adopt an agile mindset. 

  • Eagerness to stay updated with emerging SAP trends and apply them to real-world scenarios. 

  • Passion for maintaining high SAP development standards and best practices.
