We are looking for a Data Migration Lead, specializing in SAP Solutions, to lead, develop, and enhance our data migration capabilities within Pandora. We are a greenfield implementation leveraging the newest SAP technologies such as SAP S4 HANA on Private Cloud, cloud ALM, BTP as well as Kafka for integration capabilities. We have started building a strong internal team of SAP experts and are continuing to do so. Our scope is truly global, and we cover processes from manufacturing, distribution, retail, to procurement and finance.

Your role as a Data Migration Lead, SAP Solutions


As our Data Migration Lead for SAP Solutions, you will oversee the design, planning, and execution of data migration strategies. Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth data migration into SAP S/4HANA, covering various platforms. You'll manage data migration activities, collaborate with our implementation partner, and bridge communication between the Data team and functional workstreams, promoting best practices and standardization throughout the process.


Your responsibilities include


  • Lead the data migration strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with the overall program objectives. Provide best practice and training.
  • With team conduct comprehensive data assessments to identify and categorize data for migration. Ensure profound data quality metrics.
  • Implement and extend data cleansing processes, transformation, and enrichment processes to ensure migrated data meets quality standards.
  • Secure and manage efficient extract and transform process through engagement with our legacy ERP teams
  • Development of load programs via either custom ABAP program, native SAP migration tools or 3rd party applications as program maturity increases. With implementation partner.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of data migration test cycles and cutover activities to validate the integrity of migrated data and ensure seamless migration.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with data migration activities.
  • Monitor data migration performance, ensuring that SLAs and performance benchmarks are met or exceeded.
  • Adapt agile mindset and way of working to make day-to-day work efficient and collaborative with stakeholders


What is needed to succeed


  • 10+ years of experience in leading or key roles for data migration projects, ideally in a large-scale cross-functional SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Profound knowledge of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA platform and data structures and principles.
  • Solid understanding of core business processes and workstreams such like OTC (Order-to-Cash), P2P (Procure-to-Pay), Pl2Pr (Plan-to-Produce) and R2R (Record to Report)
  • Hands-on experience with migration tools such like Syniti or native SAP migrations like LTMC
  • Experienced in preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Summary Reports for Automated and manual testing.
  • Bring positive and proactive mindset with an intrinsic motivation. Demonstrate a true team-player that strives for the accomplishment of common goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
