As part of expanding the Pandora Digital and Technology organization in Warsaw, we are looking for a Release Manager in the Supply Chain Technology Area within our Digital & Technology Delivery Organization.

We are embracing scaled Agile structured around product teams with clear focus on outcomes. A strong and passionate Release Manager is a key component of realizing these ambitions. In this newly created role, you will support the introduction of our release management framework and cutover practices to ensure adoption into our product teams. This is a hands-on technical role, with a high degree of collaboration with numerous areas to drive cultural change and raise the maturity levels of the continuous delivery practices.
You will be accountable for defining the release and cutover strategy and the implementation of all the framework and governance across the Product Line.
About the Team
We are a team of professionals with a shared passion for delivering outstanding consumer experiences through best-in-class solutions, working primarily within the Supply Chain domain, both planning & operations. Within Supply Chain Technology we are a team of up to 40 professionals sitting across the globe, but main presence at our global office in Copenhagen and our Digital and Technology hub in Warsaw. The area is running a setup with two Product lines. The OMNI Operations Product Line and the Integrated Planning product line.
Your role as a Release Manager
You will be accountable for defining the release and cutover management framework and responsible for planning, co-ordinating and execution of the end-to-end change and release management processes within the Supply Chain Tech domain. This role ensures that all technology changes within the systems landscape and infrastructure are planned, assessed, scheduled, and implemented in a controlled and efficient manner. The Release Manager would collaborate with stakeholders across the domain to minimize disruption to the business, optimize system performance, maintain service availability during and post the change and release lifecycle, whilst maximizing the value delivered to our customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and Coordination: Coordinate and execute the release of software products in the domain.
- Release Documentation: You will be responsible for preparing release documentation.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: You will work closely with the QA team to ensure that all software products are thoroughly tested before release.
- Deployment and Rollout: You will manage the deployment and rollout of new software releases.
- Communication: You will be responsible for communicating release-related information to all stakeholders.
What is needed to succeed:
- Demonstrated background in developing change enablement, cutover and release management frameworks, processes and governance standards.
- Proven experience operating effectively in hybrid portfolios with a mixture of software as-a-service vendors and in-house built solutions preferably within the supply chain domain
- Experience working with large scale digital transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of feature flag and branching deployments with advanced knowledge of SDLC software development lifecycles
- Strong experience managing change and release across a broad range of technologies, including cloud-based solutions within an agile environment
- Hands-on experience with performing post release management and root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
- Fluent English - our day-to-day language is English
