About the Team:
In 2023, we continue establishing our digital Portfolio & Planning team - a passionate team of thinkers, makers, and doers focused on enabling transparency and prioritization across Pandora’s digital portfolio of initiatives. Portfolio & Planning is a newly established team, primarily located in Copenhagen Denmark. We manage the processes and meetings governing Pandora’s Digital & Technology’s portfolio of initiatives. Our portfolio spans across D&T’s portfolio consisting of initiatives delivered either following our agile ways of working or more traditional methods.
Our three Portfolio Consultants support several products and tech domains with driving and facilitating portfolio management related processes like demand intake, asset capitalization, dependency management, risk—and issue management, as well as strategic resource governance. We work directly with colleagues, senior stakeholders, and digital teams, ensuring we have the right level of governance in place to deliver on Pandora’s strategic themes. In a defined cadence, we ensure transparency on the work, value and performance delivered by the development teams on a day-to-day basis.
Your Role as a Portfolio Consultant:
We want you to bring your expertise, ideas, entrepreneurial spirit, and doer attitude into this role. You will join us on a maturity journey implementing the core processes this year and expanding our scope as we grow with the domains. More specifically, we expect the portfolio consultant to focus on:
- Support specific domains in orchestrating our demand intake process. Including to facilitate various portfolio review meetings and relevant decision points in close collaboration with key stakeholders across domain(s).
- Ensuring the right level of governance across the D&T Portfolio – enabling transparency and decision making.
- Contribute to the development of frameworks that support Delivery Managers and Directors in ensuring overview of dependencies, risks, etc.
- Optimize and simplify standard processes through optimization of existing processes.
- Actively participate in growing and continuously evolving a Unified Portfolio Management approach across the different domains.
- Collaborate on analyzing and solving blockers within the D&T Portfolio.
What is needed to succeed:
- +5 years experience from a PMO or Portfolio management function, supporting a complex and large digital portfolio.
- Can-do entrepreneurial attitude, seeing opportunities in uncertainty.
- Structured and detailed work habits combined with an operational and processes-oriented mind-set.
- Change management experience or participation in larger digital transformation projects – preferably working in a virtual and matrix organization.
- Excellence in communication and stakeholder management across all levels of an organization working in a virtual setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. PowerPoint and Excel
Preferable if your experience includes one or more of the following:
- Experience in facilitating and planning portfolio review meetings (preferably virtually)
- Experience from organizations working in hybrid setups (Agile/Waterfall) - ideally from a transition period
- Understanding of financial terminology and interest in close collaboration with Finance stakeholders
- Hands-on experience working in Azure DevOps, Jira or Power BI
- Working in SAFe or other scaled Agile setups
