We are looking for a Merchandise Financial Planning Specialist reporting to the Merchandise Financial Manager and will will be responsible for managing financial merchandise plans for distributors and wholesale, analyzing performance, monitoring sales targets, and working closely with global and finance teams to implement the merchandising strategy. Your main responsibilities in this Role:

  • Own the financial merchandise plans for Distributors and Wholesale,
  • Translate global merchandising strategies to local seasonal financial objectives,
  • Keep up to date OTB plans and review them monthly and weekly vs last estimate financial expectations with Global team,
  • Prepare analysis and files for cross functional meetings with finance team to ensure right visibility and knowledge of the merchandising strategy and OTB plans,
  • Collaborate with local finance in the budget setting and review to secure Merchandising forecast is considered in the final budget targets, 
  • Cross functionally aligns with finance and Senior leadership to set sell-in targets aligned with sales expectations,
  • Communicate all merchandise plan data to Global MFP,
  • Monitor and analyze cluster performance, suggesting actions to achieve sales and profitability targets, expansion of collection/category,
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports detailing all channel performance and actions,
  • Tight collaboration with Global merchandising for the implementation of commercial strategy.
     

You’re the perfect match, if you have:

  • University degree in Economics, Business or similar field,
  • Min 2/3 years’ experience in working within Merchandising and/or Merchandising planning, Demand Planning in a multi/omni channel company,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Analytical skills,
  • MS office – Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI (nice to have),
  • Fluency in English and Polish,
  • Strong team working,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with business stakeholders,
  • Experience and passion for the cluster retail market and a deep understanding of the seasonality and the customer,
  • Proactive in planning to achieve targets and objectives which deliver profitable outcomes,
  • Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and strong drive to resolve issues,
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities,
  • Respects individual’s views and positively contributes to a learning environment in which individuals are supported and encouraged to excel.
