Merchandise Financial Planning Manager

We are looking for a Merchandise Financial Planning Manager reporting to the cluster merchandising director and will assist leadership in developing, executing, and communicating OTB and merchandising financial plans. A successful candidate will lead MFP team owns the local MFP & OTB process for the cluster business. Your main responsibilities in this Role:
Leadership:
· Leading and development of the team responsible for the planning of promotional activities with the aim of improve sales and margin, keeping right level of inventory in the countries.
· Being the main point of contact for driving the strategy and execution of OTB plan and coordinate the team to keep up to date Open-to-Buy plans.
Merchandise Financial Strategy:
· Own the financial merchandise plans by channel of the whole cluster.
· Translate global merchandising strategies to local seasonal financial objectives.
· Identify local areas of potential and unexplored opportunities to maximise sales, make stock turn efficient and enhance positive margin trends.
· Keep up to date OTB plans and review them monthly with Global team. · Weekly review to monitor merchandise OTB plan vs last estimate financial expectations.
· Lead conversation and share analysis and files for cross functional meetings with finance team (including budget construction meetings and last estimate meetings) to ensure right visibility and knowledge of the merchandising strategy and OTB plans.
Budget Process:
· Collaborate with local finance in the budget setting and reviewing to secure Merchandising’ bottom up forecast is considered in the final budget targets.
Open to buy process:
· Responsible for reviewing and updating the Open-to-Buy plans.
· Cross functionally align with finance and Senior leadership to set stock and DP targets aligned with sales expectations.
· Lead the cluster Global Buy Review and review investment strategies relative to local Forecast, Insights, and current sales trends.
· Communicate all merchandise plan data to Global MFP.
Promotional plan and pricing initiatives:
· Leads the implementation of price change activities
· Support the price change in the OTB plans
· Leads promo plan discussion with GM and cross-functional in the cluster
· Key stakeholder in communicating key dates of promotional plan to Global MFP/OTB team.
· Maintaining the promo calendar shared with Global and Cluster finance providing insights
· Provides analysis on promo and share key learning and best practice with Global pricing team and the rest of the cluster.
Financial Performance:
· Monitor and analyze financial performance, suggesting actions to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Inventory Management:
· Make analysis on current inventory trends in the cluster and identify possible actions for the next 12 months to optimize KPIs.
· Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports detailing all channel performance and actions.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Tight collaboration with Global merchandising for the implementation of financial strategy.
· Work closely with cluster finance and sales department to understand potential of expansion of collection/category, change in the network to plan accordingly.

· University degree in Economics, Business or similar field
· Minimum 5 years of experience in working within Merchandising and/or Merchandising planning, Demand Planning in a multi/omni channel company
· Experience and passion for the cluster retail market and a deep understanding of the seasonality and the customer
· Fluency in English and Polish
· Proactive approach in planning to achieve targets and objectives which deliver profitable outcomes
· Strong communication skills with business stakeholders
· Flexibility and adaptiveness to changing priorities.
· Delivery focus with excellent attention to detail and strong drive to resolve issues
· Strong leadership, performance coaching skills and/or strong desire to develop in that direction
