Lead Integration Architect responsible for interfaces and connectivity in Global SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation, both within ERP environment and for ERP and non-ERP ecosystem

In this Digital & Technology role, you will play a key role through the entire design and global implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. You will be responsible for the E2E solution design for the SAP integrations globally, based on the already defined Pandora integration strategy. You will drive best practices and standardization. You will focus on providing technical expertise in the areas of architecture, technical delivery, design, and team leadership.

 

 

Key accountabilities include:

 

  • Lead the solution architecture creation to provide state of the art integrations to Pandora ERP application landscape on-prem or in the cloud based on event-driven architecture, API, and partly micro-batch where applicable.
  • Build an ERP integration strategy that is in line with the Pandora integration strategy and define transitional architecture and steps to have a resilient integration layer in a transitional landscape.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, and resiliency of the ERP and the integrations.
  • Responsible for the Technical delivery of the new interfaces and ensure reusability, security, scalability, and quality of all interfaces.
  • Work with Integration teams to ensure that the ERP integrations are coherent with the Pandora strategy.
  • Work closely with Delivery teams and Business Analysts/functional consultants to translate complex business specs into technical specs.
  • Review and approval of technical integration solutions and associated documentation
  • Running workshops to facilitate the design and delivery of the above

 

What is needed to succeed?

  • Expert knowledge of SAP based integration technologies.
  • Expert on integration technologies and patterns within the realm of event-driven architecture using preferable Kafka, micro-service architecture (Kubernetes, Azure functions), API platforms (Azure APIM, Kong, Mulesoft) and micro-batch technologies as Azure Data factory.
  • Extensive experience with multiple integration platforms and know that platforms are merely tooling – what matters are integration patterns, guidelines, approaches, and governance structures and sticking to the principles.
  • Extensive Integration architecture experience with full life cycle implementation in SAP.
  • Expert on SAP APIs, BAPI and iDocs and how to integrate with these components through our current middleware platforms.
  • Demonstrated track-record in designing scalable transitional integration architecture integrating future state platforms with legacy platforms.
  • Expert insight in designing re-usable schema models in publish/subscribe scenarios.
  • Solid understanding of EDA and API integrations capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and the technical design.
  • Able to make sound and far-reaching decisions alone on key issues and to take full responsibility for them on a technical basis.
  • Bring positive and initiative-taking mindset with an intrinsic motivation. Demonstrate a true team-player that strives for the accomplishment of common goals.
  • Ability to conduct workshops and provide technical analysis and insight into integrating systems.
  • Ability to work closely with Business Analysts/functional consultants to translate complex business specs into technical specs.
  • Ability to lead a design/development team and provide guidance to team members.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skill.
