Global Security Specialist (DISTRIBUTION), for the Physical Security Team - Warsaw 

 

Main Purpose of role: 

 

This role is focused on delivering physical security requirements supporting Pandora Distribution Centre and supply chain operations. You will work directly for the Global Security Manager carrying out key security initiatives aimed at supporting all Pandora Distribution and Logistical Centres around the globe. A key output will be to identify risks and implement a baseline framework to support the physical security needs of our colleagues and premises. You will also be expected to raise awareness of physical security throughout Pandora and embed a strong control environment in head office and wider areas focusing on compliance to drive security improvements.

The vision of the Physical Security department is to care for our colleagues and ensure profit protection anywhere in the world across manufacturing, distribution and retail. You will be part of this brand new team dedicated to the strategic implementation of physical security for Pandora across the Globe. 

 

Your role as Global Security Specialist: 

 

As a Global Security Specialist your role will be to identify security requirements and improvements across Pandora. You will initiate projects aimed at supporting our distribution, Omni operations and supply chain teams across 100 countries. You will also maintain an overview of physical security maturity through internal audits.  

You will… 

 

  • Implement initiatives and projects determined by the Global Security Manager within the Physical Security Strategy. 

  • Design and Implement a suit of standards, policies and procedures to protect colleagues, assets, premises and supply chain. 

  • Coordinate Pandora global physical security and loss prevention activities. 

  • Build strong methods of communication, including regular 1:1’s with Pandora Operation leads and functional teams to establish good practice.  

  • Identify non-compliant behaviour and take appropriate discussions and actions. 

  • Be a Global key contact and support in the event of an incident and support disaster recovery efforts.  

  • Keep informed on industry best practice and benchmarks, highlighting areas of new risks and any initiatives to ensure Pandora remains protected. 

  • Periodically visit distribution and manufacturing locations, with Physical Security Leads to understand risks and ensure controls, policies and procedures are updated as required. 

  • Assess physical security posture of our distribution set up and develop strategy to introduce improvements focused where most needed. 

  • Provide additional support on areas as directed by the Global Security Manager. 

 

Experience: 

 

  • Extensive background in distribution, logistics or supply chain management 

  • Physical Security or Loss Prevention experience within the retail sector  

  • Experience in working across a multi-site retail/franchise or supply chain environment 

  • Knowledge of how to lead an investigation and have experience in fact finding with limited resource  

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experienced in stakeholder management  

  • Good understanding of physical security standards such as LPS 1175 and SBD 

  • Solution focused and proven problem solver 

  • Highly analytical and able to provide detailed, clear and concise reports 

  • Flexible and capable of working under pressure, prioritising tasks with competing deadlines to optimise business results
