DevOps Lead Engineer
Are you good at building and orchestrating API standards, publishing subscribe, machine-to-machine network protocols, software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains. Do you feel comfortable with one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, JSON?
We are currently looking for DevOps Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will bring the overall Operations 2026 roadmap and vision come to life by recommending, implementing, and refining service delivery solutions. You will work in an agile setting, assuming the responsibility for the solution design, ensuring it fits the overall target blueprint and that dependencies to the rest of the solution landscape is managed. As a DevOps Tech Lead you need to understand business drivers and business capabilities and determine corresponding system designs and integrations to drive targeted business outcomes in Supply Chain.
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) will be enabling continuous focus on resilience, reliability, availability, capacity, performance, continuity, and management within the Supply Chain Tech. SRE’s efforts will be centered on ensuring quality in new systems whilst optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating repetitive work through automation.
In your new role as a DevOps Lead Engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- establish critical non-functional requirements at the solution level to enable and drive functional requirements to meet business capabilities and ensure reliable service delivery process in production.
- support the architecture runway within the portfolio management.
- enable best-in-class practices, standards, and methodologies within the engineering standards team.
- execute the long-term big picture strategy and tactical planning.
- ensure quality and reliability of delivered Products.
- implement and support Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines in the Release Management process.
- ensure high quality and reliability of the data flow through the integrations using metrics, monitoring and maintenance of the integrations.
- ensure connection between the IT delivery, GDPR and security.
- develop technical documentation & artifacts to agreed engineering standards and SRE best practices in Pandora.
- train and coach the engineers inside the Product Lines. Promote and evangelise DevOps culture and collaboration.
- collaborate with SRE & Service Excellence team to ensure consistent practices and alignment of roadmap with the rest of tech landscape.
What is needed to succeed
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Tech Lead who has extensive knowledge in IT operations and Software Delivery, SLA, service recovery, monitoring and alerting as well as extensive experience developing DevOps culture and adoption of best-in-class practices to solve complex issues. Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile delivery and Lean methodologies is crucial for this role. Please apply if you have experience in automating tools to reduce repetitive efforts of processes using scripting, integrations monitoring, defining SLI, SLO, error budgets and creating actionable alerts, and additionally with SAP 4/HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform. We will consider professionals with solid understanding and practical experience with Agile delivery/Lean methodologies and proven track record of leading/participation in IT Production Support team experience.
Additionally, we are looking for professionals with:
- 5+ years of lead Service Delivery management role or as a Site Reliability Engineer for large scale production execution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience with scalable software architectures using Azure App Services, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration, microservice frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
- 3+ years of experience in managing large-scale application in enterprise-wide environments
- experience in large scale Supply Chain, Warehouse & Logistics System implementations (preferably) or other large scale transactional system integrations and consulting experience.

You will help deliver the Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline with speed and reliability, from requirements to specifications, quality, release deployments and monitoring of production health. The main outcomes are focused on enabling our delivery process to achieve stable, scalable and reliable software in production, having shorter feedback loops, better collaboration with development and enabling higher quality products. The end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support is key here.
