We are a greenfield implementation leveraging the newest SAP technologies such as SAP S4 HANA on Private Cloud, SAP BTP, SAP Multi Bank Connectivity, SAP Advanced Cash Management as well as SAP Advanced Financial closing. We have started building a strong internal team of SAP experts and are continuing to do so. Our scope is truly global, and we cover processes from manufacturing, distribution, retail, to procurement and finance.

Your role as a Business Consultant, FICO SAP Solutions   

 

As a Business Consultant, FICO SAP Solutions, you will play a vital part in shaping the end-to-end architecture and solution design for the finance and controlling area, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules, current Microsoft ERP, and non-SAP applications. Your responsibilities will include championing best practices, driving standardization, and supporting global process owners in transforming business processes to maximize the use of SAP and industry standards. 

 

Your responsibilities include: 

 

  • Contribute to end-to-end architecture and solution design for the finance and controlling area. 
  • Contribute to integration work to other SAP modules and non-SAP applications. 
  • Assure best practices are adopted and drive standardization. 
  • Support Global Process Owners in cross-enterprise efforts to transform business processes and explore opportunities to maximize the use of SAP/ Industry standards, including the mobilization and management of key stakeholders in securing the necessary support. 
  • Work within the community of solution architects with an E2E view. 
  • Support process owners, functional consultants/business analysts and business SMEs in analysis, functional deep dives and in maturing ways of working to ensure quality functional work. 
  • Adapt agile mindset and way of working to make day-to-day work efficient and collaborative with business stakeholders. 

 

What is needed to succeed: 

 

  • Master's degree in IT or equivalent by experience. 
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role (consulting or key-user) to bring extensive experience with SAP and global implementation programs, including at least 2 completed S4 greenfield project lifecycles (moving from non-SAP ERP to SAP S4HANA). 
  • In depth understanding and configuration knowledge of SAP S4 HANA FI (GL/New GL/AR/AP), Tax and Legal reporting, Asset accounting, Bank accounting, Profit Centre, Intercompany, Financial close, Revenue Recognition. 
  • Ideally strong subject matter expertise of SAP CO and COPA. 
  • Experience in designing and configuring SAP FICO solutions and integration aspects, including integration points with other SAP modules. 
  • Naturally proactive and independent problem-solver with history of driving product management, including discovery, solving meaningful customer and business problems, and delivering scalable solutions. 
  • You enjoy working with many stakeholders and showcase the ability to translate your ideas for any audience, through well-crafted strategic documents, thorough requirements, and clear communication with stakeholders. 
  • Effective influencer and ability to work with large cross-functional teams and complex programs in large multi-national corporations. 
  • Being comfortable working with short lead-time, change management and highly volatile environment. Shows resilience and patience to build up structures and maturity within an organization.  
  • Bring positive and with a proactive mindset with an intrinsic motivation.
  • Demonstrate a true team-player that strives for the accomplishment of common goals. 
  • Proficient spoken and written command of English.
