As a result of our growth ambitions, we are looking for Business Analyst – Retail & Trade (geographical scope: PL, HU, RO, CZ, SK) who will be responsible for analyzing the performance of the Retail channel and its store network in Eastern Europe, providing data insights to influence decision-making and drive commercial improvements. The role leads day-to-day and post-performance reporting for the local Retail Store business, including KPI analysis, store benchmarking, and the creation of reports to empower the team with data. Additionally, the role includes also responsibility for revenue forecasting and assisting with ad-hoc analytics requests.

In this Role, You will:
• KPI Monitoring: Conduct the day-to-day, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting of the main Trading-KPIs on country, region, store and transactional level to share within the Sales Management and to other stakeholders
• Commercial Insights: Provide clear, concise and credible commercial insights for the weekly Trade Meeting by analysing patterns, identifying root causes and present them to the team. Furthermore, create a feedback-loop by combining qualitative feedback from different touchpoints with numbers to formulate comments and actionable conclusions.
• Forecasting: plan revenue at the store and daily level for five markets, working closely with the Retail field, Finance, and Merchandising departments to gather data, validate assumptions and refine forecasting models 
• Ad-hoc requests: collaborate closely with the Sales Management and related departments such as Training, Merchandising, eCom, Marketing and Finance on ad-hoc requests to leverage growth potentials 
• Field Reporting: Collaborate with Global Partners to refine globally maintained BI tools for effective usage by non-Finance persons and act as a connector between Global BI and Retail teams
• Best-Practice Sharing: Partner with Divisional Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers to identify best-in-class as well as weak performers to share best-practices and ultimately boost performance on all levels

 

We’re the perfect match, if You have:
• University degree (preferably in business, economics, finance)
• Experience on a similar, analytical position in retail (including an excellent understanding of retail KPIs)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data to drive decision-making by generating insights on open-ended or multi-layered questions that are presented in an audience-conform way, ability to communicate complex concepts to business stakeholders, 
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel incl. PowerPivot and PowerQuery as well as PowerPoint); Power BI would be an asset.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with situations where multitasking is frequently required
• Fluency in English – verbally and written, Polish - communicative 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, demonstrated multitasking and prioritizing skills
• Excellent communication skills
