As a result of creation of a new structure of Global Allocation Hub in Poland, we are looking for candidate for the position of Allocation Planning Specialist with the responsibility for managing inventory levels across multiple retail stores by using the replenishment system and following global guidelines to ensure optimal stock distribution. This role involves working closely with the global and regional teams to align local inventory replenishment strategies with overarching global objectives.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Allocation & Replenishment:

o Manage stock allocation across owned retail locations using the replenishment system. 
o Execute replenishment plans in line with global parameter settings and phasing strategies, ensuring local needs and nuances are addressed. 
o Monitor stock levels and sales performance to drive timely replenishment decisions. 

  • Collaboration with Global Office Team: 

o Align with global guidance on replenishment strategies and inventory control. 
o Implement global directives on stock management, adjusting for local market conditions as necessary within global directives. 
o Communicate regularly with CPH teams to provide insights on regional performance and trends. o Weekly touchpoint with Cluster Inventory for feedback and communication towards stores 

  • Sales & Data Analysis: 

o Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock-outs, overstock, and performance metrics to both local and global teams. 

  • Optimization & Efficiency: 

o Identify opportunities for improving stock distribution and replenishment efficiency across retail locations. 
o Maintain accurate data and system settings within the replenishment system to ensure consistency with global inventory strategies. 

  • Problem Solving: 

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, replenishment delays, and stock imbalances. 
o Act as the point of contact for store teams regarding allocation queries and stock adjustments 

  • Distribution Center (DC) Collaboration: 

o Work with DC team to monitor Fill Rates and ensure that deliveries have been shipped out and booked in the different store locations. Follow-up with the Cluster Inventory Coordinator to translate findings and callouts for stores

 

We’re just a perfect match, if you have:  

  • University degree in business / Economics 
  • 3-5 years of experience and excellent understanding of planning process within international retail/ FMCG business 
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, attention to details and problem-solving abilities combined with customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and planning system (PowerBI experience will be a significant advantage)
  • Ability to adapt and respond to dynamic and ever-changing work situations and environment
  • Solid business acumen skills and problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent time management skills, meeting work deadlines effectively
  • Availability for business travel (5-10 days a year).
