Visual Merchandising Specialist

About the role
The Cluster Visual Merchandising (VM) Specialist, Singapore, is responsible for supporting the Cluster VM Manager on leveraging and adapting Global VM initiatives to drive business results in their Cluster while focusing on forming strong Retail partnerships through training and in-store support while ensuring the Pandora brand standards are carried through excellence in execution. This role is a crucial support for the Cluster VM Manager for all of Asia, including Distributor markets, with also a focus and responsibility on Singapore.

Key areas of responsibilities
Creative Campaigns (25%)
- Partner with Market and Cluster leaders to leverage the Global Platinum campaign toolkit to support Market initiatives and to drive traffic to the store
- Ensure the product selected for each creative campaign fixture is following global guidelines and considering any market nuances – in partnership with Retail, Cluster and Global teams
- Manage the creative campaign ordering process, logistics and installation for the store, along with any local production needs.
- Partner with Cluster and Global on all requests for damages, missing collateral and any changes to the creative orders
- Partner with Retail team and Market stakeholders on creative campaign installation and maintenance training plans
- Track the effectiveness of creative campaigns and share with Cluster stakeholders and global, when applicable
Product Presentation & Retail Communication (25%)
- Ensure Global Product Presentation guidelines and merchandising strategy is upheld in-store. This includes partnering with the Retail team to identify any product presentation collateral needs
- Adapt Global Product Presentation guidelines for special projects, such as the Charm Bar and Style Studio, where market nuances need to be considered, with a close collaboration with Retail, Cluster VM Manager and Global VM
- Partner with Cluster VM Manager, Merchandising and Retail stakeholders to align on zoning and implement changes by working with the Retail team. In collaboration with Flagship stakeholders, provide feedback and updates to Cluster stakeholders on effectiveness of zoning changes
- Partner with Retail team and Cluster VM Manager on training plans for VM standards. Track the effectiveness of company product initiatives that are highlighted within the product displays and share with Cluster stakeholders
Operations (25%)
- In partnership with Cluster VM Manager, manage the Store VM budget, including plans and forecast
- Oversee vendors in-store, including sourcing, onboarding, procurement process (when applicable) and invoice management.
- Manage Cluster logistics, including planning and delivery of all VM assets, including campaigns, display props, POSM, etc. – extending to any customs and/or related documentation. This includes working with partners in distribution centres and Retail teams and encompasses all store typologies (O&O, outlet, multi-brand, etc.) and any distribution partners, if applicable.
- Monitor the full cycle process – from information gathering to communication of results - of the monthly consumption of VM assets, including campaigns, display props, POSM, etc., to ensure all Cluster and Retail stakeholders have needed information and all processes are efficient and on target.
- In partnership with Cluster VM team and Cluster stakeholders, oversee the production process of local production VM assets, including campaigns, display props, POSM, etc.. This includes reviewing, approving material & colour samples - ensuring alignment with Global guidelines and specifications.
Retail Activations (15%)
- Partner with Cluster stakeholders to leverage Global in-store event and retail activation programs to support local Market initiatives and to drive traffic to store
- Communicate and partner with cluster stakeholders on renderings, budget, production, vendor management and implementation. Review business impact and effectiveness of the initiative with Cluster stakeholders
New Store Openings & Refits (10%)
- In partnership with Cluster VM Manager, ensure all VM deliverables are accounted for and completed and support in store openings and continued visits
- Support in adaption of Global VM training plans and implement with Retail stakeholders
What are we looking for
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Retail (visual merchandising included) and training
- Experience with Distributor, Wholesale Partners and Vendor Management
- Experience in Jewellery and/or Fashion apparels
- Experience in high profile retail brands with focus on Premium execution
- Experience and passion for the Asia cluster retail market and a deep understanding of the regional seasonality, cultural nuances and the customer
- Ability to easily navigate Excel, budgets and forecasts of finances and VM collateral
- Strong leadership qualities
- Team player and able to cross-collaborate with stakeholders of all levels and departments
- Able to articulate clearly and an active listener
- Self-motivated and able to drive projects forward
- Passion for retail and people’s development
- Understanding of how to drive commerciality through VM
- Regional travel is expected
