Trade Marketing Coordinator

The Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing all regional marketing, local media programs, and events for our retail network. They will provide high-level guidance to retailers on Coop spend and media strategy, channels and tactics at local level. They will execute these plans in our O&O locations. They will use insights and analytics O&O best practice and historical perspective to inform the strategies. They will be charged with helping to build awareness and engagement, as well as driving traffic, for our retail network.


This role involves working cross-functionally with key internal business partners, as well as field team members to ensure consistent and effective plans are in place across all distribution channels.


This role could be based in the NYC metro area or Baltimore, MD. 


Essential Functions:

  • Act as key marketing contact for retail network. Manage a consistent cadence of meetings with field teamand other cross functional business partners. Build confidence and credibility in Pandora marketing abilities and coop vendor options. Execute mall marketing needs for new and existing O&O locations including introductory calls and supporting each campaign/promotion as needed. Partner closely with digital marketing team and Trade Marketing Managers on media planning and optimum media mix selection for these.
  • Together with Director of Marketing & Trade Marketing Managers, prepare annual recommendation and rationale for Coop spend guidance, based on historical analysis, best practice and media agency insight. Refine as needed each quarter to reflect business needs and performance. Ensure this is communicated to all internal stakeholders and retailers.
  • Partner with field and Trade Marketing Managers in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans for retailers, while ensuring alignment and on-brand execution of marketing initiatives. Work closely with partners to maintain a consistent marketing and media calendar, to provide guidance to retailers on how they should approach their annual marketing plan, and help them fill out their marketing templates. Refine and communicate on quarterly basis to all internal stakeholders and retailers. Use local O&O plan as guidance for the recommendation.
  • Ideate and execute network-wide event strategy provided by Trade Marketing Managers. Including grand opening events, added-value and campaign focused events. Must be comfortable with event planning and execution with a detail oriented mindset. Host briefing calls with store teams, providing them with a full overview and implementation plan. Results will be tracked and analyzed post event.

Something About You:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related
  • Must be highly organized, a self-starter, who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a detail oriented mindset.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time is a must.
  • Strong communication skills
  • A team player with collaborative approach
  • Ability to lead through relationship management
  • Creative thinking and innovative decision making; excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of MS office with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MS Outlook; good typing skills; knowledge of database applications a plus. Must be proficient in PowerPoint.
  • English, proficient in Spanish and French would be a plus
  • Travel required: 25%
