About the Team:
  

The Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting, establishing, and managing of incremental wholesale opportunities for the Canada Sales Division.  This candidate will be part of the larger Pandora sales organization made up of owned and wholesale channels- both big and small. They will partner with the existing team of Divisional Sales Managers to identify new growth opportunities nationally.  This candidate will have accountability across all aspects of the new account relationship during the time of account onboarding- from operations, commercial terms, logistics and sales performance.

    

The Business Development Manager is a critical partner in shaping the future of the Pandora Wholesale Division and will report directly into the Country VP – Canada and have a dotted line relationship with our Director, New Business Development.

 

 

Your Role as Business Development Manager:

 

  • Identify white space distribution opportunities nationally that will give incremental gains to the Canadian sales organization.
  • Understand the wider industry of wholesale brands and accounts, create programs that appeal to new desirable channels of distribution.
  • Take part in developing commercial terms that are profitable for both parties for sustainable growth.
  • Lead the negotiation of terms and implementation of new partners into the Pandora organization.
  • Understand the total Pandora NAM distribution roadmap and socialize opportunities that can grow the total channel, with a focus on Canada.
  • Contribute to global initiatives within the wholesale category e.g. trend analyses, category growth programs, communication on new growth opportunities and other competitor insight.
  • Initiative communication efforts to support onboarding of new channels to the total cross functional group, being an advocate for the new partner.
  • Have visibility and help manage full P&L for incremental channels.
  • Support account management until new partner is ready to fold into larger organizations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Fashion Merchandising or Marketing.
  • 8-10 yrs professional experience in wholesale sales or business development. Preferably with National Accounts.
  • Experience with customer management, new account onboarding, wholesale management, retail sales.
  • Experience wokring in a global organization
  • Fluent in English. Strong writing skills.
  • Fluent in French would be an asset  

 

 

Toronto, Ontario Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.   

Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
