This position is a seasoned Human Resource Business Partner support both office and retail business in Taiwan area. Who will direct report to Greater China HRD and Retail Director. There are 6 Key elements:

  4. Change Drive - Role models and promotes adaptability and supports implementation of changes
  5. Taiwan Payrolls
  6. End to end recruitment process

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactive advisory and coaching of people managers on people implications of business decisions. Continuous effort to better understand the business environment and industry
  • Be the owner and focal point of all HR processes including recruitment, payroll delivery, compensation & benefits administration
  • Cultivate cross team collaboration and be the company value’s advocate
  • Accountable for the HR budget and conduct regular variance analysis
  • Review HR policies and procedures and ensure they are properly implemented and compliance with local law
  • Support in the HR reporting and data analysis as required

40% - Business Partner

  • Provide guidance, coaching and direction on internal employee relations issues according to company practice, working on corrective actions and performance evaluations
  • Partner with internal management and Retail Team to lead and implement the employee and leadership development strategy, plans and programs to support growth of organization
  • Ad-hoc Communication & Sustainability related projects if any

30% - Performance & Reward (including Payroll) 

  • Support in full spectrum of P&R functions including but not limited to monthly payroll preparation, final payment calculation, tax filing, benefits enrollment and leaver administration
  • Monitor and review compensation and salary administration programs, such as annual salary review, salary survey, retail commission scheme, insurance scheme, performance bonus
  • Manage HRIS system including new joiner profile, e-Leave, personnel data changes
  • Partner with cluster HR team to own the annual salary review process

30% - Talent Acquisition

  • Direct the talent acquisition process with the goal of ensuring that the highest caliber employees are brought into the organization in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University graduate preferably in Business, HR or others related equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience in HR operations
  • Good working knowledge of Taiwan employment law is required
  • Strong understanding in English and Cantonese is essential for ease of communication
  • Prior experience gained from Retail/FMCG is preferable
  • Highly motivated who can work independently, positive thinking, proactive and open-minded
  • Good time management, able to multi-task and can work under high pressure
