MAIN RESPONSIBILITES?

We are looking for a Merchandising Director to join Pandora China. As the Cluster functional leader, she/he will be responsible for managing the business planning to achieve financial objectives as well as to build brand story. At the same time, she/he will be fully responsible for the availability of the product across channels to make sure our demand is fully met from global supply.
 

  • Partner with Cluster GM to develop business plan and merchandising strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure integration of business and merchandising plan to achieve company’s targets or other relevant strategic goals.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial partners to define product activities, promotions and react on current trading.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial partners on driving business initiatives.
  • Lead MFP team to work out overall merchandising financial planning strategy, category merchandise planning, open to buy, promotion planning, trade action and stock management.
  • Responsible for OTB alignment. Lead AP team to work out the assortment forecast & planning, and new collection plans across all channels (offline O&O, eCom, Disney and TR)
  • Oversee Merchandising cycle from range building, forecasting, pricing, sell-in and reordering, distribution, inventory management, and sell-through monitoring to meet all KPI’s.
  • Give input to Demand Planning and Inventory Team to ensure the right demand needs towards supply chain
  • Monitor & verify seasonal buy, replenishment, and store opening orders
  • Lead competitive analysis, trend forecast, pricing structure, and consumer insights to influence the global product assortment to build the right product mix.
  • Provide regular product insights to the management team to ensure competitiveness in the market
  • Build an effective Merchandising process that enhance brand value to the business and end consumers
  • Aligned with regional requirement and implement a reporting structure that monitor key business performance indicators
  • Lead 3 direct reports (15+ team members in total)

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

 
  • Experience in a Senior Buying/Merchandise role, preferably in jewelry/fashion/beauty with strong feeling for product and customer
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal skills, influence skills with an ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Advanced analytical skills: Experience of preparing reports, analyze data and understanding figures with high attention to detail
  • Flexible work ethic and to perform last-minute, self-starter and able to multi-task & work under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree holder in business, marketing, fashion or related disciplines
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English & Chinese
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, knowledge of OTB applications and replenishment and demand planning solutions
  • Effectively coach, motivate, and inspire the team
