Merchandise Financial Planning Manager

Main purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Merchandise Financial Planning Manager to join Pandora China Merchandising team based in Shanghai. In This Role you will be responsible for overall  merchandise financial planning strategy, category merchandise planning, open to buy, promotion planning, trade action and stock management for Greater China company-owned market (Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau) 


Key Accountabilities::

Merchandise Financial Planning

  • Partner with Senior Manager to create merchandise planning according to the  3 year Long Range Plan
  • Create and monitor category sales and inventory plan for Greater China Omni Channels with topline, discount, ASP, WOC, sell in plan and related Sales KPIs / inventory KPIS
  • Align promotion plan and pricing with channels especially in all KCPs and seasonal sales events according to the latest forecast commitment
  • Create newness injection open to buy plan and partner with Assortment Planning team on the range of offering
  • Align with Assortment Planning team regarding the understanding on the assortment strength/weakness and brand strategic direction to identify the structural business growth area

Business Management

  • Propose trade action according to the WTD, MTD, QTD, YTD performance
  • Provide business insight to drive proactive trade actions thought Data Analysis and reporting management including overall merchandise performance reports, promotion performance on category and special reports required
  • Provide business insight and visibility with Global Merchandising team through daily operations and regular meeting inclusive GBR and OTB meeting
  • Co-own with Assortment Planning team on competitive analysis, trend forecast and price structure
  • Check in with inventory planning team on stock availability and create alert system to maximize the business opportunities
  • Co-own with Assortment Planning team on product life-cycle management focus on discontinued and slow-moving inventory clean up
  • Align the omni channel price and promotion strategy with the brand directly and create one consumer uniform experience across the Greater China POS


Pivotal and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree and above, major in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Financial Planning are preferred
  • 5+ years merchandising planning with retail / ecom experience
  • Budgeting, Open to Buy management experience
  • Multi- Channel planning experience is a plus
  • Greater China Business experience is a plus
