About the role
As Sales Director, Pandora Asia you will provide strategic leadership and direction to the sales team to achieve revenue growth and sales targets. You are responsible for the planning and execution of the strategy, seeking out areas of growth, managing sales teams, building cross functional and key stakeholder relationships, identifying and developing talent, and driving excellence operationally and commercially. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the retail population is protected during peak selling times (Cycle drops, Promos,Key Commercial Periods) and local and global initiatives are both driving revenue, cost-efficiencies or positively impacting the store and sales environment.
You will be a part of the Asia leadership team reporting to the GM, where you will be pivotal in driving the future growth of Pandora Asia – a region with great potential for Pandora.

What you will do
As the Sales Director, your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Direction: Own and spearhead the strategic direction and priorities for the sales organisation and ensure alignment with Cluster direction and Global strategy
- Your Team: As Sales Director, you will lead retail across our O&O markets, as well as Sales Operations and Sales Training teams (retail excellence) supporting all markets. Your team will consist of the Japan Country Manager and the Singapore District Sales Manager, as well as Sales Ops Manager and Sales Training Manager supporting O&O stores and distributor markets across the Asia cluster.
- Execution Plan: Build a clear activity roadmap for Sales, enabling global and cross-functional alignment, delivering of cluster activities as well as execution of the trading line-up (TLU)
- Sales Ops and Sales Training: Drive strong consistency in store operations across our distributor markets as well as our O&O markets.
- P&L Opportunities: Analyze performance and customer data, and work with field managers to identify areas for improvement and future opportunities to drive revenue and efficiencies
- Leadership Alignment: Bring insights to the GM including weekly trade updates on the overall retail performance, KPIs and trends and underlying levers that impact them
- Talent Development: Support and develop field leaders to drive results and achieve sales targets and labor productivity targets
- Talent Acquisition: Attract, identify, retain, and develop talent amongst sales team while having an awareness of the talent pipeline below and within broader team
- Plan for Success: Bridge and approve all initiatives, promotions, programmes, and communication that impacts or affects the retail population
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with other cluster functions to plan financially and maximize opportunities in Sales, including HR, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing and Ecom. Also work closely with the global organization i.e., Global Retail Excellence and external partners i.e., multi-brand accounts
- Consistent Brand Experience: Ensure consistent execution of operational and brand standards cluster/across area of responsibility i.e., training, sales operations. Also includes supporting our distributors
- Cluster Scope: The Asia Cluster in Pandora has more than 300 points of sale across 11 countries. The cluster drives Owned and Operated Stores in Japan and Singapore, and mainly work through partners/distributors in the remainder of the operating countries. The Asia cluster represents an amazing growth opportunity for Pandora.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing preferred/bonus
- Similar field or equivalent working experience – has experience as head of sales on a Director or VP level in a similar retail business.
- Experience with both retail, wholesale and exclusive distribution is highly advantageous
- Extensive regional experience across Asia markets
- Demonstrated experience in driving results within a global, matrixed organization
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Extensive retail and industry experience, preferable within branded consumer goods. Proven ability to build and develop a successful and comparably sizeable team
- Has a track record of delivering strong results, e.g. has grown sales more than competitors and/or internal peers, has successfully driven cost-efficiency programmes to improve the P&L
