Tax Coordinator

Main purpose of the role:

Management and execution of activities inherent to the company's tax accounting, team management, full participation in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing including Tax Package submission, IRPJ and CSLL calculation, ECF preparation/review and submission, control and monitoring of tax calculations and tax accounting reconciliations (IPI/PIS/COFINS/ICMS), preparation, review and delivery of ancillary obligations (SPED, SPED Contributions, DAPI, DIME, DIEF, GIA, GIA-ST, DIRF, DCTF, DCTFWEB, REINF ), calculation of ICMS Difal, Advance and Own in the states of the South and Southeast, Northeast, Midwest and North of the country, ensure the correct calculation of taxes and fulfillment of deliveries following the deadlines, entry of goods import invoices, Transfer Pricing calculation, monitoring and maintenance of company registrations (paralegal), interface with all areas of the company to ensure tax processes and eliminate tax risks for the company, attendance of internal and external audit, as well as in case of inspections, committed to internal controls, compliance and tax management.


Key accountabilities:

  • Team Management
  • Coordinate all activities inherent to the monthly, quarterly and annual tax closing in accordance with BRGAAP and IFRS standards
  • Ensure delivering of the closing reports according to the deadlines
  • Ensure all taxes calculation are correct as well as the other obligations
  • Monitoring and review of direct and indirect tax deliveries
  • Ensure the accuracy and performance of the accounting reconciliation of taxes
  • Monitoring and execution of calculation and issuance of royalty invoices
  • Monitoring the issuance of importation invoices
  • Responsible for the Tax Package delivery.
  • Responsible for the preparation, review and delivery of the ECF
  • Transfer Pricing calculation
  • IRPJ and CSLL calculation
  • Attendance of internal and external audit
  • Attendance to inspections
  • Interface with all areas of the company to ensure process accuracy and eliminate tax risks
  • Huge interaction with Legal team for inspections and tax foreclosures
  • Internal processes/Controls management



  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of  experience or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Deep Tax Knowledge (directs and Indirects)
  • Linx User (desirable)
