About the role

 

Partner with Cluster leadership to plan and execute strategies to drive network and business performance with a defined market responsibility for store design and development, planning and execution occurs on time and to budget for all new stores, relocations and refurbishments. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of store design and fit out process, contributing to maintaining the highest standards of design and renovation in store in line with corporate standards. Also responsible for the repairs and maintenance program for the Asia network.

Key areas of responsibilities

  • Contributes to the Network plan for market and feeds key content into Network committee on all current and future SDPE projects for review
  • Contributes to IP development with key stakeholders
  • Key conduit to and manager of General Contractor’s activities
  • Owns the store development activity
  • Owns the repairs and maintenance process
  • Owns the indirect procurement activities for store development
  • Partners with Leasing Specialist on concept development for short term activations
  • Leads all key project management activities in the Network space
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure all projects are properly completed
  • Follow through store design and opening process from start to finish, from Global design through to local project execution
  • Planning of store design layout and furniture plan based on sales projection
  • Ensure design criteria is followed according to global guidelines
  • Monitor construction work progress to ensure concept stores are opened on time and within budget
  • Review project management process efficiency and work with other function team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Forecasting and demand planning of furniture stock
  • Involve in the selection process for vendors and contractors to ensure projects are met with local requirements in a cost-effective manner
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement team for furniture bulk order process
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required including covering for colleagues during absence

 

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Asset Management, Construction and Project Management
  • 5+ years of experience store construction experience and project management experience
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with high learning agility, methodical approach and highly organized
  • Deep understanding of local and regional retail market
  • Strong negotiation skills and an appreciation and understanding of navigating diverse cultures
  • Ability to bring clarity and direction when faced with ambiguous situations
