About the Team:
 

The Retail Planning Manager is a new role in the Pandora NAM Disney division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the retail planning process, ensuring the alignment of inventory, sales forecasts, and demand planning with our business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including merchandising, supply chain, and operations to ensure a seamless retail experience and effective product availability.

   

The Retail Planning Manager is a critical thought and strategic partner in shaping the future of Pandora’s Disney division and will report directly into the National Account Manager, Disney.

 

Your Role as a Retail Planning Manager:

 

Retail Planning Strategy:

  • Develop and implement retail planning strategies to meet company sales and inventory objectives.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and buying teams to ensure effective product assortment and inventory allocation across retail channels.
  • Lead the forecasting process, utilizing data analysis and market insights to predict demand and optimize stock levels.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment strategies to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Ensure timely product availability through collaboration with the supply chain team and vendors.
  • Track product performance and make recommendations to adjust strategies to maximize sales.

Sales and Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze retail sales performance, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and KPIs to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to align promotional strategies with inventory levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the merchandising, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product assortment, stock levels, and sales projections.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure retail plans are aligned with financial targets and budget constraints.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory planning.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to improve product availability and reduce lead times.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously review and refine retail planning processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Stay informed about retail industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and growth.

Florida salary: $120,000 – $130,000 commensurate on experience
