Retail Training Manager

The Retail Training Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering Pandora’s on-going training programs across multiple topics (e.g., product, sales, operations, visual merchandising, and consumer experience), channels (e.g., retail, wholesale), and stakeholders (e.g., internal sales team, retail store associates, retail store managers, franchise store associates, franchise store managers).

 

You will report directly to the Sales Director Western Europe and lead a team of 8 training professionals, providing learning and development to the field and retail teams across France and Iberia. This role is a key partner to the retail and wholesale sales leadership across the Western Europe.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

  • You will build employee performance through the activation of learning programs, applications and platforms, while also supporting key Talent initiatives
  • You will assess performance and identify gaps, recommend effective learning solutions, and evaluate the impact of learning through all four levels of training evaluation focusing heavily on improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • You will identify and recommend learning solutions for the design of training development and curriculum development based on company culture, business plans, and problem solving.
  • You will measure progress in achieving retail and wholesale team initiatives, priorities, and objectives, and course corrects where needed.
  • You will partner with retail and wholesale leadership teams in France and Iberia to understand team initiatives, priorities, and objectives.
  • You will coach and empower trainers to deliver materials and facilitate trainings effectively.

  • You speak French and Spanish fluently. 
  • You have in-store experience working in the retail sales environment
  • You have experience managing a team of trainers
  • You are recognised for your great communication skills and ability to partner, collaborate, and build relationships within all levels of the organization
  • You know how to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • You are a great listener with a customer service mindset
  • You have mastered facilitation skills and command of audience
  • You have experiece developing training programs for retail organizations
