The Go To Market manager Asia & Pacific will be the owner of the creation and execution of the local trading line-up, oversees the performance and takes corrective actions. This role will be owning the local campaign planning across channels and the local plan for driving and growing the brand

 

Your Role as a Go To Market Manager:

  • Performance mgmt. and corrective actions when trading is below plan
  • Ensure alignment between local TLU and global (via the GBUs)
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Global (feed local insights and priorities to global)
  • Ensure coherent execution across channels
  • Ensure adequate level, phasing and split of media spend to drive the commercial business
  • Be the gatekeeper of the glocalization strategy
  • Ensure coordination and consolidation of 360 strategy and executions for Asia
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the local market
  • Make sure the branding KPIs are developing at the right pace (Penetration goal)
  • Review and management of coop with Asia Pacific Partners

 

What is needed to succeed:

  • Strong, seasoned, and advanced marketing experience with vertical retailing, and omni experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of solid Marketing managerial experience in a similar role in the retail industry preferably within a multi-site environment
  • It is a MUST that you have experience working with the Asia & Pacific Region 
  • It is a MUST to have Japanese language  proficiency
  • Agile and positive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Can work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • True team player with a strong sense of initiative and a “can do” attitude
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Speak fluent in English. Other languages are highly valued.
  • Strong finance marketing understanding
  • Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to be part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action
