Fraud & Payments Specialist

The Fraud & Payments Specialist will be responsible for protecting and maximizing E-commerce revenues through high-quality risk identification and mitigation and management of chargebacks.
They will also benchmark, assess, and implement new payment methods to ensure preferred payment methods are continually evolving to balance customer needs and expectations vs costs for Pandora.
Your Role as Fraud & Payments Specialist:
- Become the subject matter expert for Pandora payment systems and providers in eCom
- Provide analysis and reporting of insights into payment usage and fraud patterns
- Work closely with the customer contact centre and customer relations teams providing support as needed (Inquiries from Customer service that might need a Payments resolution)
- Help to maintain the global fraud strategy and rules for each payment type, region, market and customer segment
- Define and monitor key metrics, understanding the root causes of fraud, payment failures and adhering at all times to GDPR/PCI regulations
- Manage the end to end Chargeback process working with all acquiring partners to defend chargeback claims, provide evidence, blacklist customers as required
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure chargebacks are recorded appropriately and monitored and reported on weekly/monthly/quarterly
- Manage all customer whitelists and blacklists across all relevant platforms and providers
What is needed to succeed:
- +3 years of solid experience in managing international payments, fraud, and chargebacks for a global retail organization
- Experience working with Mexico or Brazil markets
- Strong investigation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Adyen
- Acquiring partner portals such as AMEX, Mercado pago, Paypal etc.
