Assortment Planner Specialist

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Assortment Planner Specialist to join our Pandora Latam team, playing a dual role as both a strategic partner and analytical expert, driving impact across financial performance, sales growth, and full product life cycle management.
• Optimize assortment and inventory strategies to maximize regional performance.
• Act as the analytical counterpart to leadership across seasonal stages (product planning, buying, sales analysis).
• Translate global strategy into actionable LATAM plans ensuring alignment with LATAM market needs, covering financial planning, product development, and sell-in plans.
Your Role as an Assortment Planner Specialist:
Product Planning:
• Leverage historical performance, in-season sales, cluster dynamics, and regional strategies to build seasonal plans that maximize sales opportunities across LATAM.
• Monitor financial impact throughout the product development cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive the product life cycle, including end-of-season exit strategies tailored to the region’s needs.
Business Insights, Reporting & Analysis:
• Develop strategies to improve KPIs and address the specific needs of assigned collections/categories.
• Continuously revise and optimize assortment plans using in-season insights, with a strong focus on category and DV performance.
• Translate trends into actionable merchandising strategies, ensuring relevance and profitability.
• Support weekly trade analysis, leveraging insights to protect and expand best sellers, and inform future commercial strategies.
Merchandise Financial Forecasting:
• Partner in planning and forecasting total assortments by collection/category, aligning strategies with seasonal financial objectives.
• Consolidate and translate global and regional sales forecasts into actionable LATAM business plans, grounded in trends and data-driven insights.
Product Margin:
• Aggregate and analyze financial data to track line plan performance and support decision-making.
• Recommend and implement actions to ensure margin targets are achieved across categories and markets.
What is needed to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree: Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration
- 3-5 years of solid experience working within Merchandising and/or Consumer Insights, Demand Planning
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and present results in a simple manner
- Fluent in English and Spanish – verbally and written
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude to learn technical applications (like: Power Bi and APTOS) quickly
- Knowledge of planning software
