Join our driven Finance team in our North Sydney office to deliver the commercial results of the cluster.
Key Accountabilities:
- Play an integral role in month end close by supporting the Finance manager with monthly Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to global head office in Denmark
- Understand, oversee, review and improve processes performed by the Global Business Services team and provide training where needed
- Understand, review and improve local financial procedures, including internal controls and implement best practice financial processes
- Statutory audit process and internal audit requests
- Preparing quarterly tax computations and annual income tax returns for Australia and New Zealand
- Proactively responding to queries within the business
- Develop and maintain strong working relationship within the Cluster and Global Business Finance
Personal & Pivotal Competencies:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a global organisation or the Big 4.
- A CPA or CA qualification (or actively working toward one) is highly preferred, providing the knowledge and expertise to succeed.
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. Experience with AX is a plus, but not required – we’re looking for a fast learner.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- A clear communicator who excels in a fast-paced environment.
