At Pandora, we currently have Assortment Planning Manager where you will be responsible for buying and merchandising activities across all collections and channels. As a leader in the business you will also mentor and continue to develop a team of assortment planners.
What you’ll do
- Implementation buying and merchandising plans that drive sales, enhance product visibility, and optimize inventory levels across all channels.
- Analyse sales data, market trends and customer feedback to make informed decisions on product assortments.
- Support in store tiering strategy by market to ensure an effective and high-quality product range that meets customer needs.
- Create and maintain operational functions, including product systems, SKU management, and support with details and content for product replenishment in wholesale and outlets.
- Work closely with VM, training and marketing team to ensure right visibility and knowledge of the product according to the merchandising strategy.
- Responsible for the wholesale buying process, establish clear communication and best working practices for the wholesale channel.
- Responsible for the assortment, buying planning, replenishment process and pricing of outlet channel.
- Support creation of promo plan with product content to maximise effectiveness in CVR and profitability.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, suggesting actions to achieve sales and profitability targets and KPIs including stock level, turnover and sell-through rate.
- Conduct regular market analysis to find product opportunities and brief into global to penetrate local product opportunities.
- Working closely with Marketing, eCommerce, Operations Work and Retail Network to ensure cohesive and integrated merchandising strategies.
- Tight collaboration with Global merchandising for the implementation of collection strategy and product brief.
- Lead and develop a team of 3 Assortment Planners to achieve business objectives.
You have:
- 7 years’ experience in product ownership/management, demonstrating successful development and delivery of product strategies, roadmaps to product launch and optimisation
- Experience in leading a successful team
- Ability to quickly understand the customer, competition area and business value of new products
- Use good judgement to make sound prioritisation decisions based on the value of a feature and the estimated risk / time / technical complexity to deliver it into production use
- Is proactive in planning to achieve targets and objectives which deliver profitable outcomes
- Strong communication skills with business stakeholders and be able to communicate and advise senior managers
- Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and strong drive to resolve issues
- Be solution driven with the ability to take ownership and make effective decisions
