About the Team:
The NAM EComm team is responsible for both US and CA. A growing channel of the business; we are looking to build out a more formal and optimized GTM process that allows us to plan and react more effectively to the changes in market demand. The Ecommerce Site Merchandising Manager will be responsible for managing a team of three overseeing both the US and CA domains. Partnering closely with the Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure flawless go to market planning and execution; optimizing the site to ensure that we are relative and seed proactive virality; and lastly help to manage the site taxonomy to capture SEO equity.
As a Site Merchandising Manger, you will lead our site merchandising efforts. This role is pivotal in driving traffic, improving SEO, and ensuring the success of our go-to-market activities. The Site Merchandising Manager will work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Data Analytics teams to optimize the online customer experience and maximize sales performance. This individual will also be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing, data-driven merchandising team. This person will be critical in making sure that our brand comes to life and the storytelling of our assortment is clear to our customers. You have had extensive experience being able to translate business objectives to customer’s journeys; building briefs; and working cross-funcitonally. Lastly, the ideal candidate will be responsible for growing and leading the current team. This role is based in our NYC Corporate Office and operates on a hybrid schedule.
Your Role as Site Merchandiser Manager:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep the site merchandising strategy innovative and effective.
- Lead efforts to enhance site functionality, improve customer experience, and increase operational efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the merchandising team and other key stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, IT, and Customer Service. Build and lead a high-performing team focused on data-driven merchandising.
- Implement and manage tools and processes for analyzing merchandising effectiveness, including A/B testing, customer segmentation, and performance metrics.
- Use data to inform decisions on product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Ensure that site merchandising strategies are aligned with broader business initiatives and that stakeholder needs are met.
- Manage and mentor a team of site merchandisers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching to develop team members' skills and careers.
- Promote collaboration within the team and across departments to achieve shared objectives.
- Partner with Marketing to plan and execute go-to-market activities, ensuring that product launches, promotions, and campaigns are effectively merchandised on the site.
- Align merchandising strategies with marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
- Create compelling visual merchandising that aligns with brand standards and resonates with target audiences.
- Lead SEO initiatives to improve organic search rankings and increase site visibility.
- Optimize product descriptions, category pages, and other site content for SEO.
- Continuously monitor SEO performance and implement strategies to address gaps and capitalize on opportunities. Develop and execute site merchandising strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and improve overall sales performance.
- Leverage analytics and customer insights to identify trends, optimize product placements, and enhance the user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business goals.
Craft your career with us if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of how to use customer journey tools to predict and path conversion optimized journeys
- Strong understanding of CMS and PIM tooling systems
- SFRA experience preferred
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, e-commerce platforms, and site analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Proven track record of driving traffic, improving conversion rates, and achieving sales growth in an e-commerce environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

New York City: $135,000 - $145,000 commensurate on experience.
