About the Team:

The Senior Manager, Influencer & VIP is responsible for leading the end-to-end strategy and execution of the brand’s VIP and influencer initiatives across North America. This role ensures clarity, alignment, cultural relevance, and measurable impact across all talent and partnership touchpoints in support of key campaigns, launches, and business objectives. 

This individual plays a key role in identifying, developing, and activating relationships with high-value talent, creators, and cultural leaders. They are responsible for translating insights and opportunities into strategic, brand-aligned programs that strengthen brand perception, increase visibility, and accelerate audience growth.

As a seasoned thought leader in the VIP and influencer landscape, the ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of how talent relationships contribute to both brand equity and commercial impact. This includes nurturing established partnerships while identifying new, high-potential opportunities to engage priority audiences.

The role partners closely with cross-functional teams including social, PR, experiential, paid media, and go-to-market to ensure seamless integration and maximum impact across all in-market executions.

Your Role as Senior Manager, Influencer + VIP

 

  • Develop and lead the VIP and influencer strategy across North America, aligning talent partnerships to brand positioning, business priorities, and key cultural moments.
  • Support Global VIP and influencer initiatives by ensuring North America activations are locally relevant, strategically integrated, and aligned with the broader global vision.
  • Own and maintain the North America VIP and influencer activation calendar, collaborating closely with PR, go-to-market teams, and Global partners.
  • Identify and share actionable insights on talent trends, cultural movements, performance metrics, and audience behavior to inform strategy development and optimization.
  • Cultivate, manage, and strengthen relationships with high-impact VIPs, creators, and cultural tastemakers.
  • Serve as the primary North America point of contact for Global VIP and influencer teams to coordinate campaign planning, talent activations, and cross-functional execution.
  • Develop and manage the annual VIP and influencer strategy for North America, positioning talent as key storytellers and brand ambassadors in support of both brand equity and commercial objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of VIP and influencer initiatives across paid media, owned channels, retail, e-commerce, and experiential activations.
  • Partner with analytics and insights teams to establish KPIs and deliver regular reporting on the performance, effectiveness, and ROI of VIP and influencer programs.
  • Lead VIP and influencer engagement for key events, ensuring strategic visibility, alignment with brand standards, and meaningful content capture opportunities.
  • Manage the planning and execution of influencer and VIP shoots to support brand objectives, campaign priorities, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Directly manage three reports (VIP Senior Specialist, Influencer Specialist, and VIP, Influencer & Product Associate Coordinator), providing ongoing leadership, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Paid Media, PR, Creative, E-commerce, Retail Marketing, and Experiential teams to ensure consistent messaging, alignment, and execution across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual standards are maintained across all VIP and influencer initiatives, while supporting local market relevance and global alignment.
  • Lead the planning and execution of North America Ambassador initiatives, including talent strategy, concept development, and alignment to overarching brand storytelling pillars.

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Communications or a related field is preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in VIP and influencer marketing, digital communications, marketing, or consumer insights, with a strong understanding of brand storytelling, talent engagement, and audience development. 
  • 3–5 years in a leadership or people management role, preferably overseeing VIP, and influencer teams. 
  • Industry experience in retail, fashion, beauty, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), with deep knowledge of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and brand positioning in competitive markets. 
  • Proven experience working within a global or matrixed organization, collaborating across regions and functions to develop and execute aligned VIP and influencer strategies. 
  • Strong understanding of the North American creator and talent ecosystem, with the ability to adapt global programs, partnerships, and campaigns to regional audiences and market nuances. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop persuasive narratives, lead talent partnerships, and influence senior stakeholders on strategy and execution. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging data analytics, performance reporting tools, and listening platforms to inform strategy, measure performance, and optimize initiatives. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated VIP and influencer strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business results. 
  • Exceptional skills in crafting compelling, channel-appropriate content and narratives that resonate with diverse audiences across owned, earned, and influencer touchpoints. 
  • Skilled in managing sensitive situations, responding swiftly to potential reputational risks, and supporting the execution of crisis communication protocols across digital and experiential environments. 
  • Ability to build and nurture strong partnerships with VIPs, creators, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to amplify brand messaging and impact. 
  • Expertise in adapting global campaigns and influencer initiatives for the North American market while maintaining consistency with brand standards and positioning. 
  • Proficiency in leveraging performance data, reporting tools, and talent metrics to monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns and partnerships. 
  • Experience advising and collaborating with senior leaders on VIP strategy, influencer engagement, and integrated brand storytelling. 
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and cross-functional projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Deep understanding of emerging trends, VIP and influencer ecosystems, and how digital, cultural, and experiential content shapes consumer perception and engagement.

New York Salary: $150,000 - $165,000 commensurate on experience
