About the Team:
 

The Commercial Insights and Planning Team is responsible for all North America field reporting and creating actionable insights to support all sales inititiaves.  This team works directly with the field, store operations, and many key departments to support quantitative analysis for all key stakeholders.

 

The Sales Planning Analyst will…

 

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and projections by analyzing historical data, market trends, and consumer behavior to guide labor forecasting and store sales goals
  • Create detailed sales reports and dashboards to monitor performance against targets, identifying key insights and trends to support strategic decision-making
  • Support the sales team through quantitative analysis, insights, field observation and communication.
  • Work closely with various departments including sales, marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure alignment on sales goals and strategies, fostering a collaborative approach to business growth.
  • Must be comfortable with a dynamic work environment where projects and priorities change with the pace of the business.
  • Require a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for key stakeholders

 

 

Your Role as a Sales Planning Analyst:

 

  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build and refine sales planning model for NAM fleet, collaborating with finance and WFM
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for wholesale targets, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and driving consistent achievement of sales objectives
  • Identify areas for improvement in sales planning processes and tools, driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy in sales planning and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting models to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams through presentations and written reports.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in store sales planning, business analysis, or related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of commercial metrics, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required
  • Business acumen – the ability to quickly grasp new and different types of business propositions and understand how they operate
  • Effective communicator – writes and presents effectively, adjusting the message and content to fit the audience
  • Proactive and adaptable – willing to respond positively to changing circumstances; the ability to spot opportunities and risks, and take action to get to the best outcome
  • Collaborative – demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with the broader functional teams

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.  

Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
