About the Team:
The Sales Incentives & Performance Specialist bridges strategy and execution by ensuring the accurate and timely calculation of incentive and commission payments for over 8,000 employees. This role is accountable for managing commission models, validating performance data, reconciling payout calculations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with compensation policies and business goals.
The Specialist also supports the integrity of commission systems and tools, providing data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting that drive confidence and transparency in the company’s incentive programs.

Commission Calculation & Validation
- Execute and validate recurring commission and bonus calculations for all eligible employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established plan rules.
- Audit data inputs (e.g., sales transactions, quotas, employee eligibility) to ensure completeness and integrity prior to payout.
- Influence and lead the commission and incentive strategy for field employees
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Finance, HR, and Sales Operations.
- Maintain standardized documentation of all commission logic, formulas, and updates for audit and compliance purposes.
- Manage the commission processing calendar to ensure on-time and error-free payments.
- Serve as the primary contact for field and corporate teams regarding commission inquiries, adjustments, and escalations.
- Support the administration of compensation plan changes, including rule updates and modeling impacts.
Sales Performance Optimization
- Partner with Sales Operations, HR, and Retail Leadership to create scalable incentive and recognition programs beyond standard commission models.
- Design and implement programs that drive retail associate performance, engagement, and sales productivity.
- Develop data-driven frameworks to identify, assess, and recognize top-performing associates.
- Analyze sales performance metrics to identify key performance drivers.
- Build dashboards, scorecards, or ranking systems to track associate impact and program effectiveness.
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop reporting to be used for coaching performance and identifying region, district, store ranking.
- Track payout trends, variances, and budget impact to identify opportunities for process or model improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile total commission expense with budget forecasts and actuals.
- Partner with Sales Analytics to provide insights on incentive effectiveness and ROI.
- Support Sales Operations Team in providing ROI analysis for new operational initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and optimize commission processes to reduce cycle time, increase accuracy, and improve scalability.
- Partner with HR, D&T, and Sales Operations to implement system and reporting enhancements.
- Build and maintain a repository of best practices for incentive administration.
- Support testing and validation of system upgrades or new incentive tools.
- Partner with D&T and vendor teams to ensure system accuracy and to troubleshoot any commission-related issues.
- Benchmark incentive and reward programs to ensure Pandora is providing best in class programs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment between incentive design and business performance.
- Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment execution.
- Participate in incentive governance forums or workstreams to ensure policies and controls are maintained.
- Support Labor Optimization team with reporting, analysis and strategic planning tasks.
Craft your career with us if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, commission administration, or financial analysis
- Experience with payroll or incentive management systems (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, Callidus, or Dayforce)
- Strong data reconciliation and audit skills
- Proven ability to manage high-volume calculations and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, database management, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions
- Knowledge of sales compensation design principles and operational execution
- Ability to manage sensitive financial data with discretion
