About the Team:
The Public Relations Specialist will support the NAM Marketing team with a primary focus on consumer and corporate media relations, public affairs, and external communications. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Media Relations and Public Affairs.
This position helps maintain and strengthen a positive public image for the Pandora brand in North America by supporting national and local press efforts. The Public Relations Specialist will assist in managing media outreach, maintaining relationships with key editors and journalists, and navigating the fashion and accessories media landscape to identify and build new opportunities.
This role will support the planning and execution of external communications and collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate communication-related initiatives. The position will also assist in supporting the brand’s philanthropic and community partnerships at both the local and national level.
The Public Relations Specialist plays an important role in the marketing department, supporting brand awareness and reputation in North America. This position will work closely with key members of the NAM and Global marketing teams to ensure efforts align with overall business and brand goals. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented problem solver who brings fresh ideas to the table and has a strong ability to execute.
Your Role as a Media Relations Specialist
• Support the development and execution of Pandora’s North American public relations strategy, with a focus on driving brand awareness and desirability
• Draft press materials including press releases, media alerts, messaging documents, and pitches
• Support earned media outreach and assist in cultivating relationships with consumer and corporate media and key industry contacts
• Assist with identifying and coordinating corporate media opportunities in partnership with local and global teams, including supporting briefing materials and key messaging
• Support speaking and visibility opportunities for NAM and Global leadership, including coordinating logistics and materials • Manage incoming editorial requests and support pitching to media outlets
• Coordinate product sample sends and track editorial placements and requests
• Collaborate with internal partners, including marketing, events, and VIP teams, on brand activations that include media presence or press coverage • Support press opportunities tied to Pandora local and global talent and brand initiatives
• Assist with tracking and reporting of media coverage and support the creation of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly recaps for PR-led initiatives • Contribute to agency coordination in the U.S. and Canada, supporting campaign, seasonal, and brand-building efforts • Partner with the paid media team to support amplification and maximize earned visibility
• Support the marketing team on the development and execution of local philanthropic and community initiatives
• Assist in identifying equity-building opportunities, with a focus on sustainability and other key brand priorities
• Support crisis communications and risk mitigation efforts in partnership with the Global Corporate team
Craft your career with us if you have:
5-8 + years of experience in public relations, media relations, public affairs, communications, or related fields, with a strong understanding of brand reputation management.
Experience supporting PR campaigns and media outreach for retail, fashion, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), with a strong grasp of consumer behavior and competitive brand positioning.
Demonstrated ability to pitch media, secure coverage, draft press materials, and support storytelling across earned channels.
Experience working within a global or matrixed organization, collaborating across regions and cross-functional teams to support aligned communications.
Strong understanding of the North American media landscape and public affairs environment, with the ability to tailor global messaging to regional needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft compelling narratives, support media engagement, and prepare briefing materials for senior leaders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

New York Salary: $93,000 – $100,000 commensurate with experience
