About the Team:
Drive strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Canada P&L, variable OPEX across all NAM channels, and store-related fixed costs (including payroll, rent, and depreciation). Deliver actionable insights to optimize cost efficiency, enhance forecasting accuracy, and support performance improvement through close collaboration with Canadian leadership, logistics, store operations, and GBS.
As a key member of the North America Finance team, reporting directly to the NAM Director of FP&A, this role requires a critical thinker with a deep understanding of the full P&L. The Cluster FP&A Manager will also serve as a strategic partner to the Marketing teams, proactively managing one of the largest expense categories in the NAM P&L.
A core focus of the role is to provide clear, data-driven visibility into Marketing spend, ensuring alignment between budget and actuals. Responsibilities include ownership of forecasting, budgeting, and month-end P&L results, with a mandate to deliver insights that drive business performance across the cluster.
Your Role as Manager, FP&A OPEX + Canada
P&L Ownership & Strategic Planning

Own full accountability for the Canada market P&L, driving financial performance and strategic alignment.

Lead planning and forecasting in collaboration with Canadian leadership and NAM finance teams.

Develop and maintain bridges and variance decks for BPR and leadership reviews.

Deliver strategic insights and compelling financial storytelling to inform business decisions.
Variable OPEX Management
-
Forecast and monitor variable operating expenses across Owned & Operated, eCommerce, and Wholesale channels.

Provide detailed variance analysis with channel-specific insights and commentary.

Collaborate with Store Operations and Logistics to ensure accuracy in accruals, forecasts, and allocations.

Oversee forecasting and validation of rent, lease adjustments, and depreciation by channel.

Identify and track cost-saving initiatives in partnership with the Store Excellence team.
Store Payroll Oversight

Lead forecasting and accruals for store payroll, bonuses, and statutory costs.

Enhance forecast accuracy using productivity models and historical trends.

Align with Store Operations and HR on assumptions, changes, and reconciliations.

Build and maintain monthly trackers to reconcile forecasts vs. actuals and highlight variances.

Partner with Store Operations to improve payroll reporting accuracy and drive process improvements.
Gross Margin Optimization

Manage key cost components including customs, licensing, remelt, shrink, and eCommerce freight.

Ensure proper accruals and collaborate with Logistics and GBS for tracking and planning.

Provide variance analysis and commentary during LE and BPR cycles.
Reporting & Insights

Contribute to monthly reporting packages with focused financial analysis.

Develop tools and metrics to support Store Operations, Logistics, and Canadian leadership.

Build dashboards and reports to enhance cost transparency and ownership across teams.

4–6 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or related functions

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (required)

Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including accruals, reversals, and journal entries

Retail or Marketing industry experience strongly preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Hyperion, AX, Basware, SAP, and Power BI
-
Demonstrated analytical acumen with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences

Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across teams and departments to drive results

New York Salary: $130,000 - $155,000 commensurate with experience

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.
Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
