About the Team:
 

The Learning Design manager will support the business in driving revenue and sales through building effective learning content for the office and retail population.

 

This role will develop and implement learning strategies by designing and creating content to support learning, development, and training needs of the North America retail organization.

 

Your Role as a Learning Design Manager:

 

  • Develops and implements learning strategies, content, and programs
  • Designs e-learning courses, in-store training material, conference workshops
  • Collaborates across the business to understand main learning and content needs, creates a learning plan to implement solutions to address these needs
  • Liaises with global retail excellence and HR teams on existing content that can be locally adapted, ensure local content is in line with global standards
  • Identifies knowledge gaps through in-depth research, including consultations with clients.
  • Pinpoints pertinent learning outcomes and most suitable modes of instruction.
  • Formulates curricula outlines that address identified skills deficits.
  • Writes, edits, and structures course content in a way that bolsters learners’ retention.
  • Applies adult learning principles to learning design and content
  • Delivers hand-selected content in an accessible and fully engaging manner
  • Curates enterprise professional in-house solutions to address organizational learning needs in alignment with existing programs - offering relevant, appropriate, and proactive learning opportunities.  Integrate assets with learning systems, educate end users, promote, measure utilization, and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Applies 70-20-10 methodologies to foster a culture of learning. Promote, and measure outcomes.
  • Manages projects - template tasks, assignees, dates, progress, reports, dashboards - execute strategic planning goals. Problems faced are often complex and require investigation and analysis.
  • Navigates learning management systems - perform duties within the learning experience systems.
  • Develops blended and immersive programs that are co-owned between a variety of business units that will enable deep learning and application. Incorporating social, creative, and collaborative learning opportunities with frequent reinforcements.
  • Keeps up to date with learning design and instructional design trends, continuously build your network to help provide a benchmark for learning and capabilities activities.

  • 5-8 years of experience in: Learning & Development, Retail Training, or Retail Excellence.
  • Specific experience in educational design. Certification or degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, LMS, Video editing
  • Travel Required: 25%
  • Hybrid role based in New York City

NYC Salary: $115,000 - $120,000  commensurate on experience

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.
