About the Role:
 

The FP&A Analyst will be an integral member of the North America Finance team reporting to the Director of FP&A. This qualified individual will be a strategic business partner to global and North America leadership challenging the status quo through data driven insights. This position has ownership of forecasting, planning, and month end processes delivering actionable insights to drive business performance in the cluster.

 

Your role as an FP&A Analyst:

 

  • Influence NAM leadership and business teams while supporting the development and execution Pandora’s strategic vision;  In addition, this role will be liaison to Global Finance team supporting strategic initiatives and financial reporting requirements.
  • Partner with department heads to build, forecast, and drive accountability for Pandora’s operational and financial goals
  • Analyse financial and operational results through challenging the status quo to understand and deliver on performance KPIs
  • Implement and leverage BI tools and systems focused on efforts driving business performance and continuous improvement
  • Review processes and procedures developing recommendations on how to improve communications and drive accountability
  • Control OPEX & GM through Business Partnering & Strong Analytics. Main other areas include
    • Oversee marketing spend, accruals, initiatives for incremental spend
    • Regular meetings with marketing team
    • Overseeing annual marketing spend of $135M
    • Engage, present and finalize forecast and budget models for marketing areas.
    • Partner with e-Comm team on ROI for specific promotions, free shipping analysis, specific marketing spend.
    • Partner with the real estate on variable rent calculations and accrual
    • Financial terms in new contracts, manage spend
    • Basware accruals and various month end accruals
    • Other OPEX items as required
  • Contractual obligations and risk assessments
  • Deep understanding of GM components including license, freight, remelt, customs and Fx.  
  • Contribute to weekly\monthly financial reporting packages, budget analysis, forecasts, commentary to global
  • Upload budget and forecasts  
  • Various requests for initiatives ie. Supply chain finance, customs team (opportunities), logistics initiatives.

 

 

What is needed to succeed:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, Economics & Statistics
  • 5-8 years previous experience in a similar role withina global organisation
  • Professional designation a plus (MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate results to audience
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Agile and able to build out new processes to better support our strategic goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Hyperion, AX, SAP, Power BI

 

NYC Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

 

Travel required: > 10%
