About the Team:
The Director, LP & Inventory is responsible for developing and leading strategic initiatives to safeguard Pandora’s assets, minimize shrink, and enhance inventory processes. This role oversees Loss Prevention and Inventory Management functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement. The Director leads high-visibility investigations, collaborates with global partners, and sets the strategic vision for training, analytics, and compliance efforts
Your Role as a Director, Loss Prevention + Inventory
Accountabilities: Strategic Leadership:
- Define and oversee Pandora’s Loss Prevention and Inventory strategy to align with North American business objectives.
- Develop short- and long-term plans to reduce shrink, enhance compliance, and optimize inventory processes.
- Foster collaboration across teams, including Inventory Management, Sales Analytics, and global Loss Prevention, to achieve strategic goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead a team of three, including the Loss Prevention Business Partner, Specialists, and Analyst
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure seamless coordination among team members to execute Loss Prevention and Inventory strategies effectively.
Loss Prevention Oversight:
- Manage high-visibility investigations involving significant theft or fraud, ensuring thorough resolution and executive reporting.
- Oversee the Loss Prevention audit program and address systemic issues identified through audits.
- Guide the development and execution of Loss Prevention training programs for field teams and managers.
Inventory Management Collaboration:
- Partner with the Inventory Management Specialist to centralize inventory processes and improve accuracy.
- Ensure alignment of inventory control initiatives with shrink reduction strategies and organizational goals.
- Oversee the use of exception-based reporting and data analytics to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use data analytics to monitor trends in shrink, inventory accuracy, and operational risks.
- Collaborate with the Sales Analytics team to integrate Loss Prevention data into broader business insights.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on key performance metrics and progress against goals.
Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with global Loss Prevention teams to adopt best practices and tailor them to the North American market.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Store Operations, HR, and IT, to implement Loss Prevention and Inventory initiatives.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry organizations, to enhance security efforts.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to Loss Prevention and Inventory.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive a culture of accountability and awareness through training, audits, and proactive risk management

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Loss Prevention, Inventory Management, or retail operations, with progressive leadership roles.
- Proven track record in shrink reduction, high-profile investigations, and inventory process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of security systems and inventory control technologies
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, or Power BI).
- Deep understanding of retail operations, inventory processes, and Loss Prevention strategies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives in a fast paced environment.

New York Salary: $185,000 - $230,500 commensurate on experience

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.
Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
