About the Team:
 

The Director, Performance and Rewards is responsible for the overall design, implementation, administration, and communication of PANDORA (NAM) North Americas’ compensation and benefit programs.

 

In this role you will provide strategic long-range planning and vision for compensation and benefits programs/practices for all North Americas, including US and Canada and the Caribbean.

 

You will be responsible for providing consultative support to the Human Resources team and the PANDORA NAM management team on all compensation and benefit-related matters. This role will also partner with the corporate global office in Copenhagen, Denmark and provide analytical and consultative support regarding global compensation/benefit issues and trends.

 

This role will report to the VP, Human Resources and manage an onsite and remote based team consisting of benefits, compensation, and performance. This role is a hybrid role based in our New York office 3 days per week 

 

Your Role as a Director, Performance & Reward

 

  • Recommends, develops, and implements compensation and benefits programs that support PANDORA NAM overall business strategy and helps attract and retain quality talent.
  • Provides strategic long-range planning and vision for compensation and benefit programs/practices.
  • Designs, implements, administers, and communicates all of the organization’s compensation and benefit programs. Engages and works with outside consultants as appropriate.
  • Manages annual performance review and merit adjustment process.
  • Manages short and long-term incentive and bonus programs for eligible employees.
  • Manages executive compensation and benefit programs, to include short-term incentive programs, long-term incentive programs, and executive benefit programs.
  • Manages the annual open enrolment process for health and welfare plans.  Manages HR reward programs, including but not limited to, employee service credits, employee recognition, and tuition assistance.
  • Partners with health insurance consultants and third-party vendors.
  • Provides research, expertise, and on-going evaluation of all benefits programs and vendor effectiveness to assess cost savings, process improvements, and legal requirements to remain competitive and in compliance with all health and welfare programs.
  • Oversees the leave management programs, process, and benefits including vendor relationships for disability, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and COBRA.
  • Optimizes HRIS systems to meet workforce requirements creating opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes.
  • Partners with the corporate office in Copenhagen, Denmark and provides analytical and consultative support on global compensation/benefit issues and trends.
  • Manages Total Rewards Team; provides strategic leadership, guidance, support and coaching.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
  • 8+ years experience within a similar role in a global organisation ideally within consumer packaged goods, retail, or wholesale experience highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of combined compensation and benefit experience required including job evaluations, market pricing, salary survey submission and analysis, merit increase administration, variable pay administration, and vendor relations. Executive Compensation and Sales Compensation experience highly desirable. 
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and influence key stakeholders around compensation and benefit matters.
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work with senior leadership regarding position pay, pricing, and other sensitive executive compensation matters.

NYC Salary: $210,000 - $250,000 commensurate with experience

About Pandora NAM: 

 

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 215 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 5,000 in our owned and operated stores.  

Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
