About the Team:
 

The Director, Brand Delivery & Go-to-Market will lead a new team and key projects that support the geographic expansion, retail, and eCom development of the lab-created Diamonds by Pandora business.  With a vision of becoming a $Billion dollar business and taking ownership of this rapidly emerging category, the role will be critical towards forging a disruptive, breakthrough go-to-market strategies to drive Pandora’s ambitions in the space.

 

You will lead a brand new team and partner closely with the SVP, Diamonds and the Director, Brand Design in all areas from conceptualisation through execution. The role is responsible for both commercial and consumer lenses, both longer term commercial strategy and executing and driving marketing activities through associated market clusters.

 

Your Role as a Director, Brand Delivery & Go to Market:

 

  • Lead short and long-term go-to-market strategy including distribution, market expansion, marketing investment, media and eCom (UXP) strategy
  • Manage, regularly coach, guide and support your team for personal development
  • Global to regional cluster marketing and commercial plan ownership, alignment, tracking and actioning learnings to fuel business and ultimately exceed sales targets.
  • Leading timely marketing cycle and annual deployments to enable cluster organizations to deliver with excellence
  • Working closely other disciplines and partners (retail marketing, retail excellence, finance, PR, etc.) to ensure overall commercial strategy is brought to life throughout consumer touchpoints
  • Developing communication strategies that support the execution of upper, mid- and lower-funnel adctivities.
  • Work closely with other marketing leads (Media, PR, Design, Visual Merchandising, Retail Excellence to develop cohesive plans that prioritize campaigns and products, with detailed creative, channel and content plans.
  • Have a good understanding of the retail environment and is well versed in creating a seamless omni channel experience both in-store and online.
  • Be able to pivot quickly to respond to business needs and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Present to and align with internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Complete full activation wrap reports, identifying effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly

 

What is needed to succeed: 
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration
  • 10+ years of related professional brand marketing experience. Ideally, experience would include working for a Global company with both B&M stores and Ecommerce
  • International experience from global environments within the jewelry or retail industries.  
  • Previous experience in fine jewellry and/or Diamonds is required
  • The position requires solid experience as a Marketing and Retail leader, Luxury or jewelry brand is preferred. 
  • Positive, flexible and action orientated with a growth mindset.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop clear, insightful PowerPoint presentations, internal briefs and reports.
  • Self-starter who identifies areas of opportunity and drives forward efficiencies, processes, global strategies and goals forward with cross-functional stakeholders and clients.
  • Knowledge of MS office with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MS Outlook; good typing skills; knowledge of database applications a plus.  Must be proficient in PowerPoint
  • Executive presence (the role will require both working with and presenting to senior leadership in the global and local organizations – there will be a high level of senior exposure involved)

NYC Salary Range: $160,000 to $210,000 (commensurate with experience)
